Diya Aur Baati Hum 18th December 2014 Written Episode
The Episode starts with Babasa asking Sandhya and Sooraj to leave. He says you are my son and will always be my son, Sandhya will be my bahu, I m not ending relation, but just ending togetherness, as I know Sandhya gives imp to duty than family, so its better that she stays away, I know as I m with my wife, you are with Sandhya. Sandhya tells Sooraj that they won’t leave the house. She asks him not to be quiet and tell Babasa. Babasa says don’t say anything Sooraj, this decision is not easy for me, but I have taken it and it won’t change. Sooraj is shocked. Sooraj leaves. Sandhya says we have to keep Bhabho happy, and we will be together to make her fine soon. She asks Babasa to think about Bhabho and change his decision. She says don’t make us far from Bhabho, we will go after Bhabho gets fine. He says till you stay here, we can’t be happy. He says relations are made by heart, if heart breaks, relations ends.
He says he can’t act that everything is fine between us. She will be hurt if you both go, but she will be alive, everyone knows you did a lot for this family, but when time came to choose between duty and family, a police officer won and a bahu lost, my bahu has lost, you ruined everything, you did not care about Bhabho and Sooraj and sent them to die. Sandhya cries. Vikram says everything will be ruined. Meenakshi says forgive Sandhya. Emily and Mohit ask Babasa to give one chance to Sandhya. Chaturi and Chavi ask him to stop them. Babasa says I have decided and the one who has objection, can go with Sooraj and Sandhya.
Sooraj packs his bags and brings there. He says lets go. Vikram says you can’t go like this. Mohit says we will convince Babasa, you don’t go. Chavi says Babasa is angry, he will agree. Sandhya asks Sooraj what is he doing, how can he agree to Babasa, its not right, we will not leave this house, think about Bhabho, how will she stay without you, we will not go. Vikram says yes, Sandhya is right. Sooraj says come with me Sandhya…. He starts leaving. Mohit asks Babasa to stop them. Sandhya stops Sooraj and says Bhabho can’t stay without you.
Soorak takes the name board of Sandhya Rathi, IPS officer. He says come with me and goes out. Sandhya and everyone are shocked, and cry. Sandhya goes after Sooraj. Everyone cry and try to stop them. They come to Babasa and askhim to stop them. Babasa comes to his room and shuts the door. He sits crying and sees Bhabho sleeping. Meenakshi says how could Sooraj go, he would have convinced Babasa, he did not think about Bhabho, its like Lord’s love between them, how did he leave his Lord like this, I knew Sooraj will change after marriage. Emily says don’t say this. Vikram says Meenakshi is right, when Bhabho asked them to leave the house before, Sooraj explained her, why did he go today.
Vikram says I don’t know whats going on in Sooraj’s heart. Sandhya stops Sooraj and says what will we do when Bhabho asks about you, I have seen you worrying for her, how can you bear to be away from her, please talk to Babasa, the five days of hijack were tough for everyone, I have seen him dying every moment, he is just annoyed, everything will be fine when Bhabho comes out of this trauma, please don’t go. Sooraj says we are in middle now, come. Mohit says how will we tell Bhabho now that her son has left the house with his wife. Babasa says we will not tell her, I will tell when she gets fine.
Meenakshi says how will we lie to her. Babasa says you always lied to her. Mohit asks Vikram to take the responsibility of the house now. Meenakshi’s mum thinks everyone will be after my daughter and son in law for money now, I won’t let this happen. Meenakshi says now we have to see this day, Bhabho has leave trusting Lord but not Sooraj, everyone called Sooraj Shravan Kumar, who will sacrifice everything for them, but he left his parents for his wife, he is Kalyug’s Shravan Kumar. Sandhya asks Sooraj to think again, don’t be quiet, say anything, our family needs us a lot. She says lets go back, its not very late. He brings her to some place. She asks why did we come to police quarters. He says no, this is home. He goes inside with the bags, which she stands shocked.
She says our home is not this, lets go back, try to understand. He says I understand everything, you are right. Babasa did not see this much pain ever, which he has bear in last 5 days. She says yes. He says you are right, my family and Bhabho needs me a lot, and I know when my Bhabho wakes up, she will call me first. He says he can’t stay without Bhabho. She says lets go our home. He says I will go home, but alone. He says from today, we are Sandhya and Sooraj, separated. She is shocked. He says I did not come here to stay with you, but to drop you to your home, this police quarter is your world, no one will stop you from doing your duty. He says no relation will bound you here, you can do all duties here and let me do my duty towards my family. She cries.
He says like you don’t have anything important than your duty, there is nothing imp to me than my family, so I sacrifice you today. Laxman says Sooraj has given request for new quarter two days ago. Sandhya is surprised. Laxman says I have done all cleaning. Sandhya asks Sooraj about this. Sooraj says this is not Babasa’s decision, but mine. I have always respected your duty and did not come in between your duty, but everything changed in one moment, it took away my Sandhya and broke our relation. He says you will know me, that my family is most important for me, and when Bhabho was shot, then I had taken this decision. She looks on shocked.
Precap:
Bhabho calls Sooraj and says no…. Everyone rush to her. Chavi tells Babasa that Bhabho is calling Sooraj. She asks where is Sooraj. Where is Sandhya? They get speechless.

December 19, 00:21What kind of message or influence the director or script writers trying to send to its citizens? I am born n bred in Singapore and our Govt encourage and support women to take all kinds of jobs irregardless of gender. Our women along with our men work hand in hand in all their duties and we Singaporeans are very proud of them!! Honestly the Rathi family should be very proud of Sandya who together with Zakir n others rescued so many passengers and even killed RK SISTERS!!! So tell me director or script writer what kind of message you trying to send to the public?? And Suraj? What happened to you? Didn’t you went through the terrorist ordeal? Didn’t you realise you would been killed too like Ashok? I was happy to watch this serial which I did from day one thinking well here is one remarkable serial which loves n support his wife wholeheartedly n going lengths to make her an IPS. He too helped her in some of her duties. So doesn’t he know how much of responsibilities Sandya has towards her citizens n making Haluman Gally a safe place to stay?? If you keep depicting ridiculous episodes the serial will lose its uniqueness of
Storyline n it will end up as other mushy serials!!! Sandya…I m sooo proud of you! Wish there are more Indian women in India to fight crimes esp rapes n sexual exploitation in India!!!

In fact, one must think of sorting out present matters rather than digging into the past to ruin the present. If Babasa and Suraj thinks that by separating Sandhya just because she is focusing only on duty, i am sorry to say they are not making a balanced judgement and their thinking us very narrow minded. In all episodes Sandhya was making balanced judgement as in family life and official life.
To give a recap, Sandhya wanted to free all passengers without making any harm but my question is that was Suraj able to free passengers succesfully from clutches of RK’s sisters?
To conclude my argument, by removing her like that they are insulting so many people.

December 18, 23:46How stupid can Bhabasa n Suraj be!! It’s extremely ridiculous to blame Sandya for everything that has happened!! Anyways Sandya is no position to negotiate as the decision is with the Govt!! What is the director trying to say in this serial? That women should not be in police force at all??? How stupid n low mentality can you get to show such to the pple of India?? Why can’t bhabho n Surah just sit in d plane n let the police handle the situation? No one asked them for their help!! Why must they interfere with Sandya n Zakir’s duty as commendable officers?? So bakwas!!

December 18, 22:29I am angry with Bhabasa and also suraj. Sandhya is a part of suraj life.As for Suraj decision I am so fed-up with him.Instead of working out the problem he sent her off. No point marrying this kind of person.Very selfish.If bhabo is very important for him he should have stayed single.Yes mothers are important people in this world and Suraj should take care of his mother at the same time he should care for his wife.

RK was after the whole family because sandiyah stopped his terrorist plot (well before she was an IPS) thats why he wants revenge not because she is an IPS. Plus she couldnt have helped her husband or mother inlaw as a bahu, nor any of the other passangers. She was only able to help them & the 70+ ppl on that flight as an IPS! How stupid & gawaar!

December 18, 19:19this series is getting worst n worst everyday. things are getting from bad to worse everyday. things shouldn’t be done this way at least they should appreciate her efford for once. she has been working on RK’s case for more than 5months now for the safety of her family and the society in general and all the family could give her in return is this including her beloved suraji. this is so stupid I think.

December 18, 17:01Sooraj Rathi and bhabo knows that RK’s main target is Suraj and not Sandya. Does he not know that even if Sandya requests to free Sooraj, RK and gang wont be going to release either Sooraj or bhabo or both? Sandya just tried to safe all the family members from RK in future also.

Today each family member is saying what they felt when they crossed from that difficult situation . We can only understand some one when we see from there prospective..

December 18, 12:04What the hell is wrong with CV’s!! How the hell is Sandhya to be blamed for all this? Was it Sandhaya’s fault that plane got hijacked? Was it sandhya’s fault that her family was in that hijack? Was it Sandhya’s fault that she took risk of her own life to save her family along with 65 other people? She could stay back home and cry with other family members and not try to free passengers at all. I’m sure that’s what they all were expecting from her!! She did her officer and bahu duty very well! She did save everyone but stupid Suraj had to jump out of the plane and bhabo ofcourse had to follow her and all that is to be blamed to Sandhya!! Really impressed with CV’s. Well I think its a blessing in disguise for Sandhya. I really want everyone of RP to feel her absence. And would love to see Sandhya speaking for herself and making RP understand that how selfish they all are including SURAJ!
