Each of the four finalists have had a fabulous journey in Nach Baliye 5 – Producer Hemant Ruparel

Nach Baliye 5, the dance reality show on Star Plus is drawing bigger crowds as it reaches its climax. And the fact that the season has been successful in terms of popularity as well as ratings makes Hemant Ruparel, the Producer of Nach Baliye elated.

Frames Productions Company, which has successfully produced seasons of Dance India Dance and DID L’il Masters for Zee TV have added yet another feather in their cap by keeping the viewers glued to this season’s Nach Baliye..

As Nach Baliye heads into its last week, Producer Hemant talked about the entire journey to us, “The journey of making Nach Baliye 5 has been great. We always wanted a differentiated finale, and that is what we are aiming for now. Overall, we have had a successful season and we hope to end the show on a very high note. We have brought in something new for viewers every week, and the finale will also be the same. We will have quite a lot of humour element in the finale. The best part of this season is that the competition has been very healthy when compared to many other reality shows.”

Sharing his thoughts on the four finalists, Hemant said, “Jay Bhanushali has worked really hard. If you see him, he has lost nearly 10 kgs from the start of the show to its finish. You can imagine the extent of rehearsals that have gone in. Jay is extremely popular in television and so is Mahhi. They have been performing consistently. Nobody would have imagined Neelu to come out so strong, after playing a character like Bhabho. On seeing Arvind and Neelu, I get reminded of Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar who re-created history by winning the Season 1 of Nach Baliye. Neelu and Arvind have been a revelation and have changed the way Nach Baliye looks. I would go on to say that, the oldest couple look to be the strongest couple. Ravi (Dubey) and Sargun (Mehta) initially had issues with their dancing and never looked strong. Sajid (Khan) had some issues with them and felt that they did not give their best. But see the way they have come back. If you go through the last 3-4 weeks’ performances, Ravi and Sargun’s acts have always been there in the top four acts. They have had a superb comeback. Suhasi and Darsheel have their own elegance and have improved quite a lot.”

When asked to choose a winner, he said, “Everyone has had a fabuolous journey. And all the jodis have a good chance of winning. May the best couple win!!”.
