Pandit comes to perform Kabir and Pooja’s engagement and asks Pooja to get ready like a bride. Pooja asks what difference does it make, it is just a ritual. Kabir says she should get ready and asks Sonali to give bridal dress to her bhabhi and tell everyone that her brother selected this beautiful color. Rani takes Pooja in and says she shouldn’t marry Kabir. Pooja says she will not, but has to save mom from Kabir somehow. Rani thinks she doesn’t care if mom is alive or dead, she shouldn’t marry Kabir as Kabir is hers.

Ranjeet and Chopra guide workers in decorating house. Chanda scolds them to do their job properly. Kabir asks Sonali if she gave medicines to Pooja’s mother as they should take good care of her. Sonali says she did already. Pooja

walks in wearing Kabir’s gifted dress. Kabir says she is looking gorgeous and asks Pandit to start engagement rituals. Pandit asks them to exchange rings.. Pooja angrily fixes ring in Kabir’s hand. Pandit asks to dorn veil on bride. Kabir asks Suman to do the honors. She angrily does. Pandit says rituals are complete now. Kabir says without elder’s blessings how can engagement complete, they will take amma, dadaji and maa’s blessings; he forces Pooja to take their blessings. Chanda insists to touch even her feet. Kabir orders Pooja to touch even Chanda’s feet. Pooja does and asks to get out it rituals are done. Kabir says his family will stay here for 2 days till the wedding. Pooja gets angry and thinks how will she find her mother within 2 days. Suman confronts Kabir and asks if he melted down seeing Pooja’s tears and forgot his revenge saga. He says fire sets off with water.
Pooja prays god to keep her mother safe. Orphanage children walk to pooja and asks if she will not celebrate 15th August with them. Amma says Pooja is not well, so she cannot come. Pooja says she will and hoisting flag takes oath to protect her motherland from antisocial elements. At night, Pooja hides in Kabir’s room cupboard to find out where he has kept her mother. Kabir walks in speaking over phone and opens cupboard and she falls on him. He says he knew she is hiding here. Chanda brings family and alleges that Pooja acts as hating Kabir during day and enters his room at night.
