Ek Ghar Banaunga lead Rahul Sharma mobbed by fans at Shirdi

Rahul Sharma, who is currently enjoying his last few days of shooting with Star Plus’ Ek Ghar Banaunga (Village Boy Productions), (as the show is all set to go off air) was in for a pleasant surprise when he was mobbed by fans recently at Shirdi, Maharashtra.

Talking on the same Rahul shares, “It’s four years since I have been in Mumbai and this is the first time that my family visited me. We thought of going for a pilgrimage trip to Trankeshwar and Shirdi. At the queue in the Shirdi temple we were standing quite behind in the second lane and soon people started recognizing me and started getting excited.”

“Thankfully we were in a queue so people did not form a crowd but as soon as I stepped out the whole gang came towards us and it took my family in for a surprise. There were around 50-60 girls from Gujarat who had come for a college trip and they all wanted pictures with me,” shared the handsome actor.

So how did his family react to this stardom moment? “Oh they were completely taken aback. If it would have happened in Mumbai, that would have been fine, but people recognizing us in a small pilgrimage place like Shirdi, it really gave me a high. My family was really happy to see that I have reached a good position in life with my hard work,” beamed Rahul.

And what about him, how did he enjoy the attention? “It was surely a wonderful feeling. I think I signed the most numbers of autographs in a day at Shirdi. It was a bit shocking but obviously I loved the experience. And when the crowd was outnumbered I had to take the help of the cops to get going,” he smiled.

Rahul furthered shared, “Although our show will soon go off air, I am happy that we have been able to make a mark in the hearts of our viewers. God has been kind and given me an opportunity to work with this wonderful team and being a positive person I am sure there will be a better and brighter opportunity in the coming days.”

That’s the spirit young man!
