Samar asks Jaya what if her mother had really made prenuptual agreement. Jaya says she would never talk to her mother. Kishan says he would do same, but he knows his mother would not do anything like that. Rama hears that and gets tensed. Samar walks to Chacha’s room and seeing Chachi walks away angrily asks Chacha what happened to Chachiji. Chacha says Chachi told she does not need any gift in diwalli. Samar says it is good then. Chacha says when women say no, it means yes. Samar returns to room and asks Jaya what she needs as diwali gift. She says nothing. He thinks it means yes. He calls Richa and asks her to help him get a gift for Jaya which she will like. Richa sensed dress link which Jaya wanted to buy. Samar orders dress. Shikha enters and asks what is hapening.
Shikha says she sent dress link to Samar jiju, then realizes she sent wrong dress link and says let it be, this short dress will get Jaya and Samar more closer.
Next morning, Dadaji distribes diwali shagun to whole family and extra envelope to Jaya saying it is her first diwali. Jaya misses Satya. At Satya’s home, Satya distributes gift to family. Jaya calls Satya and says she is missing her and her diwali is incomplete without her. Satya reminisces promising she will not interfere in her daughters’ lives.
Jaya draws rangoli. Samar helps her, they both get engrasped into each other’s eyes. Rama alerts them. Samar gets nervous and leaves. Courier boy delivers Samar’s ordered dress. Jaya thinks it is her gifted sari for her and Satya and asks Jyoti to receive it. Jyoti is surprised to see short and transparent dress and asks if she will wear it. Jaya busy drawing rangoli says yes, she ordered same for her mother. Jyoti shows it to Chachi and Rama who also panic seeing the dress. Courier boy delivers courier again. Samar thinks it is his gift. Jaya opens packet and sees her saris and tells Samar she got courier earlier also and Jyoti took it. Samar rushes to Jyoti and sees Samar and Chachi discussing to hide dress. He acts angry on Jaya, takes dress and leaves acting.
Samar returns to Jaya and showing her dress says he got her favorite dress. Jaya is shocked and asks who told him. He says her sister, he is good husband. Jaya says it is not her favorite dress, he is confused, she will not wear it. Samar gets disappointed.
