“My son might become a choreographer one day”:Farah Khan

Farah Khan to judge the semi finals of the show India’s Got Talent.

Farah Khan to host the semifinals of colors channel reality show India’s Got Talent.

Lets have a look on what have she to say about the same…

Why did you take up IGT when it has already reached the Semi Finals?
I had got the offer for the show in the very beginning, however I couldn’t take it up since I had to promote my film ‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’. But the Production House still wanted me as the judge on the show, so they had inquired about my availability. They asked me to join in by mid- October and until then they will get another judge for the audition round and I would join in from the semifinals. This is how and why I’ve taken up IGT from the middle.

How do you feel taking up the IGT?
It is a good feeling. I have shot just one episode till now but it was truly fun. Karan is there on the show so it is totally a homely feeling. The two of us as well as Kirron Kher sit and chat with each other.

This show is much similar to ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’. The show on which you were one of the judges!
Yes this show is a bit similar to Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’. But the concept is moreover different. That show was filled with craziness with Anu Malik’ji adding on the madness (laughs) . This show is like a plate full of different dishes, there is a lot of variety in it.

What do you have to say about the dance acts which are performed?
Here the dance acts which are performed are very different and unique from other dance reality shows. They are beautifully choreographed and sometimes go beyond one’s imagination. Watching them is a treat to our eyes. You can’t find any mistakes in the dance at all. They are extremely talented and everyone is a perfectionist. I am very used to the Bollywood dances but what these contestants perform on the show is outstanding.

Out of all the reality shows which you have been a part of, which has been your personal favorite?
India’s Got Talent is my 14th reality show and I have enjoyed all of them. Indian Idol was my first show and it was good fun, as well as was Dance India Dance Super Kids which I did recently. I enjoyed Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega to my fullest. Now I am all set to enjoy India’s Got Talent.

The wishful talent which you think you should have had?
I wish I could sing or do gymnastic but unfortunately I cant.

Tell us something about the likings of your kids.
My son is a superb dancer. He loves dancing a lot, when invited in any party he is already getting in the party mood from the door itself. He enters the place dancing madly(laughs). My two daughters are much known as the background dancers for him(laughs). Maybe my son will become a choreographer one day.

How do you manage work and your 3 Kids?
Well I am a juggler between these two situations. I am used to it now and handle it quite well. Television show shooting is just once in a week so that is not much of a problem as in it gives me ample time to spend with my kids. That is why I like television, unlike Bollywood which keeps you extremely busy. What actually keeps me very busy is my kid’s friend’s birthday parties. There are nearly 20 this month, I wonder how will I manage it all(smiles).

The host’s which you enjoyed with the most?
Vishal Malhotra was great during Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, we had a gala time together.Manish Paul is a superb entertainer as a host.

The TV show that you never miss?
I never miss Bigg Boss as it is the only show I watch since it is aired at 9.00 p.m. I am already sitting in front of the TV to watch this show. However I am not liking the Parivarik theme this time as it is getting in no entertainment at all. I am going to meet Salman Khan for Dabangg 2 dance rehearsals and I will surely question him about the same. He is spoiling the show’s spicy outcome by making it Parivarik (smiles). But I must say, Salman is a superb host.
