Shritama Mukherjee who made her TV debut with Dekha Ek Khwaab on Sony Entertainment Television is now back with Channel V’s latest offering, Best Friends Forever (BFF), produced by Cinevistaas.

Talking about this unique youth concept, Shritama states, “This youth concept is different in the sense that all the characters in it are grey. The three best friends (Vinnie, Sanjana and Ela) have some deep hidden secrets. The mystery revolves around why and how one of our friends Varun who was also a part of the group disappears.”

Talking about her look in the show, the young girl says, “Vinnie wears leggings at home, but removes them when in college. I am sure many young women from conservative families will identify with this characteristic.”

She goes on, “Like Vinnie who has a crush on her professor, I too had a crush on my computer science teacher back in school.”

On her offscreen rapport with her co-stars, especially the girls Shritama avers, “I have always heard lot of stories on insecurities creeping up amongst girls. But luckily no such incidents have happened on sets till date. I am the youngest of the lot and both Fenil Umrigar and Charlie Chauhan take very good care of me.”

On similarities between her roles in Dekha Ek Khwaab and BFF, she quips, “Even Vinnie is not close to her mom and there is a back story to it which will be revealed as the story unfolds. Also, it is much easier playing someone closer to your age, and this is why I want to stay away from the saas bahu stuff.”

Shritama, we wish you all the luck for BFF..
