The Episode starts with Eklavya coming infront of Guru Dronacharya and tells that he kept his statue there. Dronacharya asks if he did that presentation on the river. Eklavya says yes. Dronacharya says I didn’t give you any teaching. Eklavya says I learnt whatever you were teaching to your Shishya while I was working in the Gurukul and practice the same infront of your statue. Dronacharya says it was not learning, but stealing. You stole my teaching. Arjun asks how he can be superior than me when you blessed me to be Dhanodhar. Dronacharya says it will decide by the test. Betaal asks Vikram why did Eklavya give his thumb to Dronacharya even though he knows that he was doing injustice to him. Arjun challenges Eklavya and says he is superior Shishya and Dhanodhar also. Eklavya says it was not his
wish to become Dhanodhar, but it was his need. Arjun challenges him. They fire arrow at each other. Arjun’s win became difficult. Arjun tells Eklavya that he don’t want to fire Divyastra, but you forced me. Arjun fires Divyastra in the sky. Eklavya also fires in the sky and says if we want we can fight for years, but I am not prince like you, and if I fight like this then who will take care of my family. He says we have to end this war right now. He fires arrow in air and it comes down and circles around Arjun. Dronacharya is surprised and tells Eklavya that he has proved today that he is the superior Dhanodhar and he is proud of have Shishya like him. Eklavya says I am happy that you have accepted me as your Shishya.
Dronacharya asks him to give Guru Dakshina. Eklavya asks him what he can give. Dronacharya asks him to give him right hand thumb if he want to pay his Guru Dakshina. Eklavya and others are shocked. Dronacharya asks if you don’t want to give. Eklavya tells that he wants to ask his family. Dronacharya says if you don’t give Guru Dakshina then you will not be called as Dhanodhar.
Eklavya comes to his family. Mohana says whatever you learnt is because of your hardwork, he never accepted you as your shishya then why he is asking. Eklavya says now he is asking, but if I don’t give then he might order to get my thumb cut. They tell that he will not be Dhanodhar if he cuts his thumb. Eklavya thinks of the Senapati’s tortures and tells his mother that he thought what he shall do. He comes to Dronacharya and says he has decided. He gives his right hand thumb to Dronacharya as the Guru Dakshina. Betaal says Eklavya’s fight couldn’t completed as his Guru betrayed him. He asks betaal to tell why did Eklavya give his thumb to Guru Dronacharya.
Vikram says his victory lies in his defeat, and says he has understood that powerful society will snatch all his rights as he comes from untouchable small community. He tried to present an example infront of his community that he can do anything and get anything, and can become superior Dhanodhar by sacrificing his everything. Eklavya tells Dronacharya not to think that he has snatched the position of Dhanodhar from him, and says I gave my thumb to you as I wanted to live and want to teach Dhanodhar Vidya to my people. He promises him that he will teach his community and make him superior Dhanodhar without their thumb and will be competent to protect themselves and no Dronacharya can cut his thumb. Vikram tells Betaal that Eklavya won from Narakhet and on many Society rules. He says that’s why arrow is fired with two fingers without using the arrow.
Betaal says you forgot that once you speak, I will leave. Vikram asks him to stop. Betaal escapes. He tells that some parents force their wishes on their children and pressurize them to do something against their wish. He asks the parents not to pressurize the kids and asks them to let them do which interests them. Vikram comes following Betaal. Betaal says you again came. Vikram asks will you come or shall I come to you? Betaal jokes. Vikram tries to catch him. Betaal asks him to answer his question. Vikram asks why you ask questions again and again. He asks him to answer, what is the relation of hands, legs and heart. Vikram answers it. Betaal asks what is head meant for? Vikram says it is meant for knowledge. Betaal says I will come with you. He says I will tell you story and says why Lakshmi cursed Vishnu to cut his head.
