Vikas Shrivastav and Aanup Shuklaa to enter Ramayan
Media is abuzz with the news of Sachin Tyagi being roped in to play Ravan in Zee TV’s Ramayan. In fact, We were the first to report about Sachin taking up Ravan’s role.
And now we get you some more entries.
As per a reliable source, the story of Ram (Gagan Malik), Sita (Neha Sargam) and Laxman (Neil Bhatt) will now move into the jungle where they will meet a tribe. The head of the tribe, Nishadraj will turn out to be Dashrath’s (Rishabh Shukla) friend.
Hence, he will offer the three the provision to stay with them. At the same time, a nearby King named Shashiketu will learn about Ram’s arrival and he will want him to come to his place instead of staying with the tribals. This is when a war will break out in which Nishadraj will stand victorious.
Vikas Shrivastav, who was last seen in Colors’ Na Aana Is Desh Laado, will be seen as Nishadraj. The actor is currently in the news for his negative role in the Aamir Khan starrer Talaash. Aanup Shuklaa, who was last seen in SAB TV’s Chidiya Ghar as Dildar Singh, will be seen playing Shashiketu.
Confirming his entry, Vikas said, “I took up this role to get the look and feel of the character. It’s something different that I am getting to play this time.”
Aanup too confirmed his entry.
The episodic will air on 2 December 2012 which will also mark Ravan’s entry in the plot.
