Scene 1
Purnima starts walking outside her house but Kartik comes there. Purnima says I was coming to say sorry to your family. Kartik says you have no-fault, my mom had a misunderstanding. Why didn’t you tell earlier that you are not a maid here? Purnima says it wouldn’t have made things right, I couldn’t let my sister’s dreams break. Kartik says you have nothing wrong with you, don’t let people insult because of your complexion, this is not right, people have to accept us, we humans differentiate and don’t retaliate to others. You should fight for yourself. Purnima says I don’t have an issue with my complexion. My mom gave this to me so it can never be wrong, this society doesn’t accept it. I love my complexion so this society has to change their mindset. I can’t do anything for them. Kartik says people will say things but it doesn’t matter, don’t change yourself. Purnima smiles at him. They both share an eyelock. Purnima starts going back to her house. Kartik smiles and starts leaving. He turns to look at her. He leaves. Purnima turns and smiles at him.
Sumrit calls Shanaya and says what happened shouldn’t have happened, you could have told us about her. Shanaya says my sister shouldn’t have come there. Sumrit says it’s okay, your sister helped your mom. Shanaya says why are you tensed? He says don’t worry, I will handle my mom. Shanaya says okay and ends the call.
Scene 2
Purnima comes to Soni’s house. Chachi comes there and says you still have guts to come here? You are such an idiot. Soni comes there and glares at her. Purnima tells her that I know I have hurt you and you wouldn’t like to keep this relationship with my family and I am the reason behind it. I know you hate my dark complexion and it’s not my fault, I have got it from my mother, it’s not my sister’s fault. I was not even coming to the engagement but I had to save Bina as she is my mother. Chachi says how dare you to blabber so much in front of Soni? Purnima says please don’t punish Shanaya, I will never show my face to you but please don’t break this wedding. She folds her hands and begs.
Kartik says sorry to Kuldeep for Soni’s misbehavior, he says she is just short-tempered. Beeji says everything is sorted, he is a nice girl. Nani says people comment on Purnima’s complexion all the time so you don’t have to say sorry. Soni does want this marriage right? Kartik says I will handle everything. Shanaya brings coffee for him and mistakenly throws it on his shirt. She says I am sorry. Beeji asks him to wash and change. Shanaya says I will help him. She takes him from there and smirks.
Purnima asks Soni to come to their mata ki chowki tomorrow if she has forgiven them. Soni says we will come. Purnima smiles and thanks her. Soni smirks.
PRECAP- Kartik is shirtless, Shanaya tries to touch him.
Soni brings the shagun to Bina’s house. Purnima sees all things are black color. Soni smirks at her.
