The Episode starts with Maruti telling that the katha is very nice and asks what happened next. Anjani says Rishi Shilad got so much lost in his son’s love that he forgot to thank God. She says he forgot his dharm and karam seeing his son. His son asks him if he can ask him anything. Rishi Shilad asks him to say. His son asks why you are not doing Sadhna after getting me. Rishi Shilad says he is not doing Sadhna as he has no more wish now. He says I got you from Mahadev. He says tomorrow is your naamkarn and asks him to sleep. His son was curious to know about Mahadev and comes to the Shivling. He prays to Mahadev and asks him to accept his greeting. Mahadev blesses him. Rishi Shilad’s son tells that since he came to know about him, he wants to know about him. He says he wanted his father to worship Mahadev, but as he is not worshipping him, his son will worship you. Anjani tells Maruti that Rishi Shilad’s son was like you. Maruti says I love both my parents. She says Rishi Shilad calls the Sapt Rishis for his son’s naamkaran. The Rishis tell that this boy is extra ordinary and names him Nandi.
Rishi Shilad asks him to tell his future. The Rishi tells him that his son will do a big thing in short life and tells that he is having short life. Rishi Shilad gets shocked and says I asked Mahadev to give me a son who can’t die. He cries and falls. Nandi couldn’t see his father’s deteriorating heath and asks him to start worshipping again. Rishi Shilad says you said right, I asked you from Mahadev, he can only protect you, I will go pray to Mahadev and asks long life for you. He tries to get up, but can’t get up. He says he has failed. Nandi says he will pray for his father’s health. Rishi Shilad asks him to see Mahadev’s feet and not his face, as if anyone sees his face then get immense happiness and forgets what to wish. Nandi says ok.
Anjani says Nandi started worshipping in the jungle for long. Mahadev appeared infront of him and says he is happy with his tapasya. Nandi opens his eyes and looks at Mahadev’s feet. Mahadev says you are not looking at me, after doing a rigorous tapasya. Nandi says my son asked me not to look at your face as if anyone sees then will get immense happiness and satisfaction. Mahadev asks him to think if he will not see him. Nandi says I will look at your face for one moment, and will apologize to my father. He looks at Mahadev and says my God. Mahadev asks what do you want? Nandi says I want to die early and want to do your seva. Mahadev says but you wanted long life and does tapasya for it. Nandi tells that he is immersed in his bhakti and prays for his father. Mahadev gives him boon that he will be closer to Mahadev and death can’t touch him. Nandi says he wants to take care of him. Mahadev gets impressed with him and says you will be my transport/wahan from now itself. Nandi thanks Mahadev.
