Sai advises Mhalsapati that help can come to him in any form, but he should evaluate a person thoroughly before taking help as evil may come disguised to help. Mhalsapati gets confused and thinks what did Sai say. A young man Raghunath enters Shirdi and helps children pluck fruits from tree. He reaches Mhalsapati’s house and calls him. Yamuna asks who is he. He says he knows Mhalsapati well. Mhalsapati walks out and asks who is he. He says he is Raghunath, temple pujari Yashwant’s student and brought his letter. Mhalsapati reads letter that Yashwant cannot return for 1 more month due to family issues, so he is sending his student to do pooja till he returns. He thinks if this boy is capable to become Poojari.
A man waits for Sai in Dwarkamayi and once Sai returns greets him.
Sai takes him in and asks him to sit, asks what is his problem. Man says his name is Tukaram and recently his wife passed way leaving all house work on him, he is worried if his father had food on time and his son is not playing out. Sai asks what does he do. He says he is an accountant and is expected to not make any mistakes in accounts, but recently he did a mistake breaking trust on him by his boss; he knows his wife cannot return, but his mind is tensed and unstable and he needs a solution from Sai to calm his mind. Sai asks him to get water for him, not from lake or well, but from a pit on road. Tukaram thinks Sai does not need water to drink, but for something else. He walks out to get water.
Raghunath tells Mhalsapati that he must be thinking if he is capable of handling such an important job, he wants to learn from Mhalsapati and since he doesn’t have a place to stay here, he will stay at Mhalsapati’s house and learn from him by following his routine. Mhalsapati consults Appa, Baiza maa, and Ranoji who say boy is helpful and doesn’t have any bad habits. Raghunath in tension picks chewing tobbaco when Mhalsapati walks to him and says he spoke to everyone and they accepted him as temple’s pooja, so he can start performing pooja in temple from tomorrow. Raghunath says it is so nice of him, he will get garland soon. Mhalsapati asks why garland before pooja. Raghunath says he made a mistake, he will first eat something and then will go to temple.
Tukaram picks dirty water from road in Sai’s given cup and gives it to Sai. Sai says it is dirty water, how can he drink it. Tukaram asks why did he ask to bring water from pit. Sai asks to find a pit where clean water is. Tukaram searches clean pit in whole Shirdi, but does not find it anywhere. He finally sees a clean water, but before he could pick it a boy steps on it and runs away. He gets disappointed that until he gets clean water, Sai will not give him solution for his problem, so he will wait here till soil settles down and he can get clean water. He stops people from stepping on water.
Mhalsapati arranges pooja items and not finding cotton leaves asks Yamuna to prepare breakfast soon and goes to get leaves. Raghunath enters kitchen and calling Yamuna as elder sister insists to help her. He keenly looks at utensils in trunk.
Precap: Tukaram gives water to Sai. Saia asks how did he get such a clean water. Tukaram says by waiting. Sai pours water on ground.
