Minnie walks to Arya’s room and sees her sitting sadly. She switches on star lights and asks if its pretty. Arya smiles and nods yes. Minnie offers her turmeric milk and says if she wants to hear real story, she needs to finish it. Arya finishes it and asks to start story from the beginning. Minnie starts 2 sisters Hansel and Gretchel’s story. Arya carefully listens and gets engrasped in story and correlates Hansel and Gretchel to Minnie and herself. She asks if Minnie will come to help her like Hansel helped Gretchel. Minnie says yes.
In the morning, Arya gets ready for school and asks Minnie if she is going back to Australia, not to go before she returns from school. NB, Dadaji, Biji, Laala walk in. Arya greets them all and goes to school. Laala informs Minnie that HS had taken loan to buy restaurant and now it is difficult to repay loan with just pension. Minnie says she thought loan is repaid with restaurant’s income. NB says it is a huge loan and with only pension, it is difficult to manage. Lala says only 15,000 rs will be left every month after paying loan EMI. Minnie asks how will she manage Puro and Rani’s salaries and Arya’s expenses, she wanted to giver a better upbringing to Arya. Biji says their modeling career is not going well as they are old, but she has some money to manage for a few days. Minnie says that is not the solution. Laala says they need to sell either restaurant or house. Minnie decides to sell restaurant. NB says Babita had opened it for her daughters. Minnie says there is no other go, she will manage Arya’s expenses with HS’ pension and her salary.
Minnie reaches restaurant and informs employees that she is selling this restaurant. Geeta gets disheartened, Simpy says if it is because of her fight with Khurshid then she will apologize him and apologizes Khurshid, Khurshid asks if Minnie she is sure. Minnie says if she has to sell either restaurant or house, would they like house being sold. They say no. Simpy cries asking how will she pay her brother’s fees, father’s hospital bill, her marriage is fixed because of her job and will be canceled now. Khurshid says he has a piece of land in village and will manage with it, but Babita’s soul will not be in peace if this restaurant will be sold. Geeta says this restaurant is not only Minnie’s but us all and it is their ray of life. Minnie says she is helpless. They all walk away sadly. Minnie tells NB that she is doing all this for Arya.
