Guard stops Sudama asks who is he and where is he going. Sudama says doesn’t know how many guards will stop him, he is Krishna’s friend and came to meet him. Guard says he is lying and until Krishna himself says, he will not let Sudama in. Krishna informs Ugrasen and others that he as a special announcement to be made and takes them towards door. Sudama says he himself will call Krishna and calls Krishna. Guard drags him away when Krishna reaches and stopping guard says Sudama is his best friend. He emotionally runs towards Sudama and hugging him announces that Sudhama is his best friend and can go anywhere in Dwarka. Balram asks Sudama how is he. Sudama says happy seeing Krishna. Ugrasen this is the best example to greet friend.
Krishna takes Sudama to his royal court and makes him sit on his throne. Sudama gets very emotional and says he made a poor man sit on royal throne. Krishna says he is making his friend sit on throne. Sudama says an arrogant man with his wife had accompanied him and all the way insulted Krishna, so she didn’t let him meet Krishna. Krishna asks how can he say that. Mahadev rests under a tree and Parvathi offers him fruits. Krishna via telepathy apologizes him and says joking with his friend backfired.
Krishna then washes Sudama’s feet. Rukmini seeing that realizes her mistake and apologizes Sudama for misbehaving with him. Sudama says its not her mistake. Krishna asks Sudama what did he bring for him. Sudama hesitantly shows handful of rice. Krishna announces Sudama as Mahashivratri’s maha pandit. Sudama says now he can gift him something good and asks to return rice. Krishna says this rice is invaluable to him and he will have this rice today. Rukmini goes to kitchen and informs Radha that Krishna’s friend Sudama has come, so she came to prepare chappan bhog/feast for him. Radha says she met Sudama already and knows Krishna likes to serve his friend a chappan bhog, so she already started preparing it. Rukmini says Krishna announced Sudama as maha pandit. She gives Sudama’s brought rice to Radha. Radha says Krishna will have only this rice.
Precap: Radha gives rice to Rukmini and says Krishna will value this than chappan bhog. Rukmini serves chappan bhog to Krishna, Krishna takes Sudama’s rice instead.
