Ragini Khanna opens up on quitting Gangs Of Hasseepur

Zee TV’s ongoing standup comedy show Gangs Of Hasseepur (Esselvision) which started on a big scale has hit a road block.

Yes, the judge ‘haseena’ of the show Tanishaa Mukerji and the charming host Ragini Khanna have moved out of the project.

Comedians Suresh Menon and Sanket Bhosale will replace Ragini while Mandira will be the solo judge.

As per media reports, the reason for the exit is under performance which lead to drop in show’s TRPs.

On the other side we have heard that the actresses were unhappy with the show’s progression and lack of good scripting.

To get the clear story, we buzzed Ragini and she shared, “This was supposed to happen. I had contract of 8 episodes but then too I shot for 10 episodes. Now the show is extended till June with all new creative changes hence I wished to discontinue. There is no bad blood or controversy to it.”

And what about the underperformance part? “I am known for my bubbly and spontaneous nature. I used to improvise my own scenes so there is nothing of those sorts.”

Will you host in future? “Yes of course. I enjoy hosting. I have many offers in kitty and I am waiting to do a daily soap. If anything concrete comes up then my fans would come to know.”

All the best Ragini!
