Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein set to go off air on 16th June 2012

Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein, the story of a young girl Aaliya (Deblina Chaterjee) who puts her patriotic foot forward and takes on the terrorists, launched on 14 February 2012. The show which was the second for Ravi Ojha Productions, after their successful debut on Star Plus with Sasural Genda Phool apparently did not click with the audience, and the ratings never showed an upward graph.

As a result of this, the channel has decided to shut the show. We hear that the last telecast date of Sajda will be on 16 June 2012. Rajshri Productions’ new show titled Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara will in all probability take its place.

When contacted, producer Mitali Bhattacharya confirmed the news to us saying, “Yes, Sajda will be going off air sometime in mid June. The channel has not informed us about the date of closure”.

The Rajshri Productions show will have popular names like Mukesh Khanna, Nakuul Mehta, Mansi Salvi, Ashlesha Sawant in prominent roles.

We tried calling Kavita Barjatya of Rajshri Productions, to get a confirmation, but she remained unavailable for comment.

Let’s hope Rajshri Productions manage to keep the viewers glued with their new offering.
