Naina and Preeti put their babies on the bed. There is a photo of Naina and Preeti’s childhood on the wall behind the bed.

Voiceover – Sameer:
We thought of Naina and Preeti’s Jodi seeing the brother and sister together today.

Naina and Preeti play with the babies while Sameer and Rakesh look on.

At night, Suman starts crying in the middle of the night. Naina wonders if the baby is hungry or is experiencing stomach ache. Rakesh wakes up hearing her cry as well. Can they not hear her crying? He decides to check himself. He knocks at their door. Sameer tells Naina to calm the daughter. Sameer opens the door for Rakesh. He picks her up in his arms. I will show you how kids are pacified. Sameer and Naina get impressed as Suman calms down in a second. Sameer

calls him expert. Rakesh replies that he has raised two kids. We can count 3 if you include Sameer in the list. He takes Suman outside. Sameer and Naina follow him. Rakesh is singing a lullaby. Sameer says she will get afraid of it. Rakesh denies. Sameer brings his guitar. He sings Tu Mera Dil song. Naina picks Suman in her arms. Rakesh, Naina and Sameer sing the song together sweetly. Suman smiles.
Next morning, Naina is trying to cook while holding Suman in her arms. Preeti comes there. She asks about Sameer and Rakesh. Naina takes her to her room. Rakesh and Sameer are still sleeping. They both smile. Naina shares that Suman dint let them sleep the entire night. They were looking after her. Preeti shares that Shubham is going through the same thing. One has to take care of the baby when you are cooking. She wakes up Sameer and Rakesh. They readily offer to look after Suman. Naina asks them to bathe Suman. Rakesh and Sameer keep making excuses to avoid it so Preeti divides the daytime and nighttime duties between them.

People say it isn’t easy to be parents. We understood it that day. Everyone’s time table revolved around Suman especially Papa ji’s. He was very pleased with it though. Then came the day Suman got her injection. Papa ji was in more pain than her.

Rakesh picks up suman in his arms. Preeti reminds Naina how they used to go quiet seeing Rakesh whenever they got an injection. Naina nods. Now Papa cries seeing Suman getting injection. Preeti goes to drop doc to the door. Sameer talks to Suman. Rakesh teases Sameer indirectly through Sameer. Naina tells Rakesh to rest for a while. We will make her sleep with us. Rakesh denies. I don’t mind staying awake for her day and night. Naina says you never showered so much love on me. Rakesh says grandkids are more important for grandparents than their own kids. I went through something similar. Preeti reminds them how Rakesh never came with them on any PTM or annual day. She goes quiet realising what she just said but Rakesh agrees that this is the truth. I dint even take Naina to doc when she was ill. I never looked after her or her studies. Anand used to do everything for her. He used to take care of her whenever she was ill. He did more for her than he did for Preeti. Only I couldn’t do it. It is said that the happiness of kids is of utmost priority in everyone’s life. I missed doing it back then but I will make up for it with Suman. Naina sits next to him. I always saw love and concern in your anger. We wouldn’t have been here if you weren’t here with us today. He hides his emotions and goes to bring milk for Suman. Sameer accompanies her. Preeti and Naina sit down to talk about their babies. Naina says we were this small till some time and now we have kids. This is unbelievable! They share a hug when Suman cries. Preeti says she is your mother later and my sister first. I can hug her. Naina nods. Preeti heads home.

You used to become parents with experience back in those days but these days, parents have become over protective. Papa ji was way ahead of time. He was also extremely concerned for Suman which surprised us as well.

Vanita, Aditya and Tanvi come to meet Suman. Aditya calls himself Suman’s Chacha whereas Tanvi calls herself Suman’s Mausi (through Naina-Preeti’s side). They argue cutely over it but Vanita tells them to choose whatever they like. Naina makes Vanita hold Suman and clicks their photo with Suman. Aditya asks her to give him the negative too. I will also get a poster for my home. Naina nods. I will also keep all my pregnancy stuff safe. Who knows when someone may need it! Tanvi smiles shyly. Sameer comes back with 2 bags. Naina says there is so much at home already. Sameer says I got branded stuff for our daughter. Naina refuses to use any other oil for the baby. I will only use mustard oil. Vanita seconds Naina’s choice but Sameer insists upon his choice. Aditya supports Sameer. Vanita tells him to ask his mother what she applied on him. Sameer says it might be used earlier but time is changing now. Vanita says time is changing but I am also a mother. I know what’s best for the baby. Naina and Sameer continue their argument. Naina says I will make the baby intelligent and teach her everything. Sameer tells her to stop being a teacher everywhere. She will call you strict when she grows up. Naina says wont I slap her if she says something like that. Sameer’s eyes widen in shock. You will hurt the baby? You know that it is a crime right? Naina remarks that Chachi ji will be imprisoned for jail and Tai ji should be given death penalty. This is how every kid learns. You are stubborn because of this reason only. Preeti and I were beaten with every possible thing which is why we are so smart. Vanita says even I got scolded when I was a kid. Sameer asks for Suman but Naina does not let go of her. Rakesh takes Suman instead. She likes to be with her Nanu. Naina and Sameer look on.

Naina is doing her work when Suman cries. She pats her head and tries to calm her down. Sameer asks her why Suman is crying so much. Naina says she was playing and got hurt from the corner of the bed. He looks at her in shock.
