Female narrator explains importance of first salary, how they still have some money from their first cheque from boutique work. But they spent their first cheque from Mumbai in decorating their house. There is a song in which Sameer and Naina are having a pillow fight.

Next day, Sameer and Naina go out for shopping. Naina tells Sameer everyone is watching them. A vegetable seller stops Sameer and asks him to buy vegetables from him. A watchman comes and tells Sameer that he has wooed everyone and asks him for an autograph.

Days pass. Sameer and Naina are at jewelry shop. Naina likes an earring, but she says no after she finds out it’s expensive. But Sameer insists her to buy. He’s short of money. Preeti’s husband comes there and gives remaining money. Naina

says no, but Nirmala insists.
Later at home, Nirmala tells Sameer-Naina to save money for future instead spending it all. In their field, it’s hard to find work. Rakesh said he also thought about it, but it was their first salary, so he didn’t say anything. Sameer and Naina say they will be careful from now. Nirmala then advises Sameer to find a job.

Next day, Aditya comes to Sameer and informs him about a coordinator casting for a new film and TV. Other side, Rakesh says he’ll have to do work too to earn some money. He thinks of tutoring kids. Naina is also looking at interviews ads in newspaper. She doesn’t tell anything to Sameer or Rakesh about it.

Sameer comes for the audition. Coordinator is a lady. She flirts with him and says he can get role if he does an “extra effort”. Sameer feels uncomfortable and walks out. Before he shares that to Aditya, he goes inside and experiences same thing as Sameer. He too comes out in a shock. Him and Sameer quickly walk out.

Naina comes for an interview for a writer’s position. She manages to impress the interviewer.

Aditya is still shocked and angry for not getting any work. Sameer tells him not to give up. Their time will come too.

Sameer returns home and tells Rakesh that meeting was good, they will call if there is any assignment. Sameer asks about Naina. She just comes in with a job letter. Sameer sees and is surprised / stunned.
