A show is about team effort and every character is important: Prasad Barve

From being an intern in Dill Mill Gayye, Prasad Barve has come a long way and has turned a doctor… Randhir Fauzdar in Colors’ Mrs Pammi Pyarelal.

Talking about his role, the actor says, “I am a very choosy actor and that is one of the reasons why I did not take up any other show post Dill Mill Gayye. But when Playtime Creations approached me and narrated the concept of this show and also about my character, I simply fell in love with it.”

“Randhir is a simple man who loves his wife a lot. He is a doctor but has his own issues,” Prasad quips.
During his hiatus from TV, the actor was busy shooting for a Telugu film, as he tells us, “I was offered a Telugu film titled Nuvvila. There the film turned out to be a huge success. Soon after that, I got Mrs Pammi Pyarelal.”

Caution the actor that he might get “left out” with the show focusing primarily on Pammi (Gaurav Gera) and he replies, “The Indian cricket team is not all about Dhoni; it’s also about the other players as Cricket is a team game. Similarly, a show is about team effort and every character, in a serial, is important. Apart from that Gaurav Gera, our Dhoni, is with us.”

We wish you all the luck in the show… Prasad!!!
