Scene 1
The family is leaving for the city. Dadi gives money to Veer as a shagun. He takes it and nods at Pinku. Rani says he will stay here. Veer says he can study well in the city. Rani says I don’t want that city to snatch his innocence like me. Veer says we will meet soon. Rani tells Dadi that I will leave now. She says I have folded the clothes for you. I will call you when I reach there. Dadi and Pinku hug her. Rani cries. Dadi says your life is with Veer, I pray for your relationship. She asks them to remain happy together. Rani sits in the car and weeps. The car drives away.
At the mansion, Kumud is leaving when Rajmata stops her. She asks where she is going? Kumud says I have some work. Rajmata asks when she will come back? Kumud says I am going forever. Rajmata asks what happened? Does Rajeshwari know? Kumud says no. Rajmata asks what happened suddenly? You are a loyal person to this house, you can tell me anything. Kumud says I have to leave right now. Rajmata says I won’t let you go like this. Rajeshwari will come back and then you can leave. Now go back and make tea for yourself and me. Kumud nods and goes back.
Veer’s car stops at a stall in the village. Rani and Veer are tensed around each other. Vikram says I will go and arrange some tea. Veer tells sorry to Rani, whatever I did has hurt you. Rani says yes, it has hurt me but don’t know what you are thinking about me. You left me first and then came back to get me. I didn’t say a single word, you must be thinking what kind of a girl I am who is so adjusting. I am like that only, I mold myself as per the situation, I know why you did what you did, I am hurt you hid such a big thing from me but you had a valid reason, I was living for a reason but it broke. Everything was a lie, I never wanted to dependent on someone, I want to stand for myself, I want to study and become strong but you have hurt my honor. But you took care of my Dadi’s respect, you got my father’s shop back, you came back to bring me back even after knowing what can happen, you went against your loved one for me. I accept your apology. Veer says repenting mistakes are easy but not repeating them is difficult, going against Ranisa is a sin for me, I might do some more mistakes in the future too and will ask for forgiveness too. Vikram brings tea for them. Rani looks on. Vikram says have tea as we don’t know what will happen at the house. Veer and Rani look on.
Scene 2
Veer, Vikram and Rani come back home. They see lights turning on as they enter the house. Rajeshwari comes there and says you are back finally? Veer looks down. Rajeshwari says I didn’t want this girl back here. Veer says but.. she stops him and says you people went against my orders and brought her back. Rajmata comes there and says I want to say something Rajeshwari. Rajeshwari says only I will speak today. All family members come there. Rajeshwari says to Rani that there was no need to welcome you the first time as you were a servant’s daughter, the second time I had to welcome you because you came the wife of our eldest son but today the story is different. All have accepted you, Veer has given you respect as his wife so why should I stay back? I am part of this family too so why should I stay away? I have decided that I am accepting you as a daughter in law of this family from now on. All are stunned. Rani can’t believe it. Rajmata asks if she is sure? I can’t believe it. Rajeshwari says I will make you believe it, I will do her garah parvesh and welcome her with respect. She asks Kumud to bring aarti plate. Rajeshwari does Rani and Veer’s aarti. Vikram thinks mom threw her out and now she is welcoming her? Rajeshwari applies tilak to Rani and Veer. Rajeshwari says it’s a happy occasion so don’t be tensed, won’t you take my blessings? Veer and Rani touch her feet. Vikram thinks how could mom change overnight? This is risky for Rani. Rajeshwari blesses them while they weep. Rajmata thinks that I hope this brings happiness to our lives. Rani recalls Veer’s words that he can’t go against Ranisa. Rajeshwari gets emotional and nods at Veer. Rajeshwari takes off her bangle and says you are daughter-in-law of the biggest family of this city so your empty hands don’t look good. Rani says I won’t be able to handle this. Rajmata says you will have to handle the whole house so be ready. Rani says but this expansive, Rajeshwari says this is my love which has no price. This is not a prize but a blessing. She makes Rani wear her bangle. Rajeshwari tells everyone that we have a new family member in the house from now on. Rani will get her rightful place in our family portrait so everyone knows that Rani is my daughter-in-law.
