Cast of ‘Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar’ finally bids adieu as they shot their last episode yesterday!

The reports about Sony TV’s ‘Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar’ going off-air from November 16, is being speculated by the media since quite a while now. This news has been duly confirmed now, as the entire unit shot for their last episode, yesterday.

Sharing his thoughts over shooting with Balaji Telefilms, protagonist of the show, Ronit Roy said, “Well, it was great working with Balaji Telefilms once again. I have always maintained that the cast of Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar has been a superb team and I look forward to shooting with them in future.”

Pallavi Kulkarni could not be reached for a comment.

However, Rohan Shah known as Agam elaborated, “Professionally speaking, this show has been a big platform for me as an artist. I got an opportunity to shoot with a great set of actors and I feel that my personality grew through this show! We all bonded very well off-screen and we look forward to meeting each other daily. I guess this was one of the primary reasons, why I loved shooting for ‘Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar’.”

Whether he anticipated the show bidding adieu so soon, the actor added, “I will miss this show but we all believe that something has to end for better things to materialize. We all shot for our last day on a happy note and we wish the best for all of us in future.”

Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar will end on a happy note with Neil and Ragini uniting.

THIS IS AN EARNEST REQUEST INTENDED TO SONY TV FROM ALL THE FOLLOWERS OF IKNMP SHOW (PLEASE READ IT)
First of all Congratulations that our beloved show Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar (so called, “IKNMP”) and one of SONY TV’s VERY/MOST POPULAR SHOW has crossed the landmark of 200 Episodes but unfortunately, we all are highly morosed and deeply lamenting that our lovely show is graduating towards it’s finale episode. IT IS UNDEBATABLE that IKNMP is THAT OFFERING of SONY CHANNEL that has simply created a BENCHMARK & has GARNERED VERY GOOD NUMBERS RIGHT FROM IT’S INCEPTION with HIGH TRPs right from the beginning, BREAKING THE RECORD OF MANY INSENSIBLE SHOWS IN OTHER CHANNELS. It’s a unique package – be it the stellar starcast with stalwarts like Ronit Roy, Pallavi Kulkarni and Ashwini Kalsekar as part of the show. Not only that the entire star cast is simply superb with fantabulous performances by all; A stupendous concept and undoubtedly THE CRACKLING CHEMISTRY OF THE LEAD PAIR – RONIT AND PALLAVI, which is a HUGE HIT amongst the masses throughout the world and has still been garnering rave reviews. STILL I WOULD SAY THAT SONY STANDS CLASSY ENOUGH FOR PUTTING UP A SOPHISTICATED SHOW LIKE IKNMP – HATS OFF FOR THE SAME!!!

So, if this is the scenario, we would sincerely urge Sony TV stakeholders to please kindly re-think. IF SONY TV STAKEHOLDERS ASK THEIR CONSCIENCE, I’M SURE THAT THEY THEMSELVES KNOW THAT IKNMP IS A VERY POPULAR SHOW OF SONY. We do understand that TRPs were a bit low for past couple of weeks but we all know that the show has regained it’s vigour and has got back it’s lost glory, it’s track with a very intriguing storyline, then why is Sony Channel getting rid of this? Over the world, we all know that just that when the track has become quite interesting, the Channel has decided to pull it off. The show has already got a new time-slot of 5:30 PM IST. The said time is not clashing with any of Sony’s shows, then what is the use of getting rid of this show? It can easily continue at 5:30 PM IST or atleast at 6:30 PM IST and repeat at 10:30 PM IST. Just do this. You will see the difference; the show will garner back ample of TRPs again. Strategy could be adopted as – Crime Patrol is anyways shown at 11 PM IST from Friday to Sunday. Hence, it can continue at the same time of 11 PM IST from Monday to Thursday even, what is the harm? Indeed same show, same time over the whole week i.e. Crime Patrol will help to maintain the continuity i.e. Crime Patrol at 11 PM IST from Monday to Sunday. Hence, give IKNMP to breathe at it’s new time-slot of 5:30 PM IST. I have been following the TRPs of Sony over the whole year. If Maharana Pratap can continue with extreme Low TRPs for a run of 1 whole year, then what is the harm with IKNMP when it garnered ample of TRPs and right now it’s once again going steady. The show’s current track has massively revived back.

Again, we know that IKNMP team has already wrapped up shoot. Not an issue, we all know that it is this same Channel Sony TV and same Production House Balaji Telefilms, who jointly brought the second season of Kutumb with the same star cast. Then why not IKNMP? Recently MTV’s show “Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan” has wrapped up shoot and brought back with a second season in a matter of 1 week and this hype has actually re-created new magic and getting lots of collections. Same with IKNMP, we can do the same and retain this show with a hype and bring back the show by end of this month – you will see the change. Zee TV’s “Satrangi Sasural” was supposed to be axed but the decision changed and they moved it to a new time-slot of 6 PM IST and now it’s garnering better TRPs. Same with IKNMP, the show has already moved to a new time-slot, so give the show the time to garner more and more TRPs at this revised time-slot with a repeat telecast at 10:30 PM IST or 11:30 PM IST.

The USP of this show is that it is immensely popular overseas and has viewers across all age groups. So PLEASE BRING THIS SHOW BACK WITH THE SAME STAR CAST (RONIT & PALLAVI) FOR A SECOND SEASON.

I bank that IKNMP is a very very popular show, hence if Sony stakeholders ask their own conscience they know that losing IKNMP means losing Ronit Roy, losing a great production house and a huge list of IKNMP viewers across the world means a huge list of Sony’s Viewers. Hence, it’s a plead to retain this show – we all are sure that IKNMP only will bring back the Channel’s lost power.

Also, last but not the least Sony has never shown the CANDLELIGHT DINNER PROMO OF IKNMP. Before that only the show is pulled off. RETAIN THIS SHOW AND MAKE THIS SHOW BIGGER WITH THIS PROMO WITH A NEW START:

I love the show. I have been watching all the previous episodes daily. Superb Acting from all and very… very realistic. Especially Ronit and Pallavi. Simply Superb. No word to describe their talent. Great Chemistry between Ronit and Pallavi. Missing all the family members of IKNMP. It will be a big loss to Sony T.V. You are not going to be the best station in the world anymore. Sony T.V will be Loosing lot of viewers and its TRP also. I FEEL REALLY SAD THAT SUCH A GOOD SHOW WAS GIVEN SUCH AN INSULTING FAREWELL.

Plz bring the show back with a second season or with a new story line. This show is one of the greatest show with fabolous storylines. Give the show it’s time…the trp’s will rise. Look at balika vadhu and taarak mehta ka ooltah chashma. These shows got their glory after 2 or 2 and a half yaers. Whereas this show has just completed a year. How do you expect the landmasses to directly switch to this show without seeing it on a regular basis. Please don’t axe out the show…or if the show is axed, please get a season 2 of the show…plz.
