The Episode starts with Chhan Chhan getting the call from Manav. Umaben thinks Manav calls her often, he it totally in love with Chhan Chhan. Umaben checks the rotlas. Manek says this rotlas is very good. Chhan Chhan gives some suggestion to Umaben. Manek is impressed, he says you know whats good and whats bad for this house. He says he will take the rotlas and give somewhere. Umaben asks how did you prepare it so soon. Ranjana says about the roti maker. Chhan Chhan shows the roti maker to Umaben. Chhan Chhan is shocked as Umaben came to know about her readymade sareee. Umaben thinks she will not let her work in her house.
Umaben is talking to some women and they praise her. She calls everyone and invite for Chhan Chhan’s mu dikhai rasam. Umaben says now it will be fun, lets see.
Chhan Chhan is in her room talking to herself. She gets Manav’s call. She says sorry, she was busy in kitchen. He asks what, it was your first day. She tells him everything. She asks him to come back soon as she is missing him a lot. He asks her to tell him something. She becomes shy and someone comes. She cuts the call. Umaben comes to her.
She says I came to give you this saree. Umaben says my friends wanted to meet you today, so we kept your mu dikhai rasam today. Umaben asks her to wear this saree and come infront of them. Chhan Chhan says its very beautiful. Umaben says I know you don’t have the habit of wearing saree, but what to do. Its a ritual. Umaben pretends infront of her as if she is innocent. Chhan Chhan thinks how will she manage such a heavy saree and the ghunghat. Chhan Chhan gets tensed.
Chhan Chhan tries to wear the saree. She is unable to wear it right and she talks to Manav’s photo. She says I would be confident if you were here, I miss you so much.
Scene shifts to Chhan Chhan’s house:
Karthik is angry that Chhan Chhan called roti makers. Karthik is worried about Chhan Chhan. Maithili says Chhan Chhan would call me if anything was wrong. Simple says Chhan Chhan was looking happy. Karthik overreacts and Maithili stops him saying now she is Umaben’s bahu. Dadi says Chhan Chhan is doing what we did in this house. Karthik says no one is understanding me.
Karthik calls Chhan Chhan, she talks to him. He asks her how is she, she says I m fine. He asks about her breakfast and lunch, he asks her what she made in lunch. Chhan Chhan says my saas is very good, she is keeping me like her daughter. Chhan Chhan says if you worry about me a lot, then I will worry. Chhan Chhan says she is busy as there are many rituals. Chhan Chhan thinks if I have learnt how to wear saree from Dadi, then I would have.. She gets an idea. She surfs the net how to wear an indian saree.
Everyone are waiting for Chhan Chhan. Umaben is happy that Chhan Chhan will look awful infront of them. She praises Chhan Chhan, saying she is beautiful. Umaben asks Sanjana to bring Chhan Chhan. Umaben thinks how will Chhan Chhan look.
Chhan Chhan watches a video and wears the saree. Sanjana comes to her and asks her to hurry up. Chhan Chhan does not fix the pleats with the pin. She comes in the hall. She is unable to walk properly. The women gossip about her. Umaben laughs. Her Ghunghat slips. Everyone are shocked. Ranjana is tensed that Umaben is hold her responsible for this.
Umaben welcomes her and introduces her to her friends. Chhan Chhan greets them. Chhan Chhan suddenly falls. The women tell her bad comments. Chhan Chhan is shocked.
Precap:
Chhan Chhan is going downstairs, and she catches Manav and thinks he is a thief. Everyone come in hall and see Manav.

June 21, 21:07If ever a show would be ranked just on the basis of media blitz then it would have to be Sony Entertainment Television’s Chhanchhan. This Sanaya Irani project has dominated media headlines since the past week ever since lead actor Farhan Khan got replaced by Anuj Sachdeva.
Ironically this Optimystix Entertainment show has never raced ahead on the TRP charts ever since it started during the IPL. According to sources, this very expensive show is rating similarly to other serials which are less on money like Anamika and Khoobsurat.
It was a shocker for all when the channel and production house finally replaced lead actor Farhan blaming him for not getting the right chemistry with Sanaya thereby derailing the show.
Farhan instead of keeping quiet lost it and went to town blaming Sanaya for not cooperating with him. An angry Sanaya who normally never talks to the media also retorted in equal measure calling him a liar. The social media went crazy with everybody taking sides. Even other cast members (Charu Asopa) got into the fiasco lending support to Sanaya.
At first the channel kept quiet but seeing things going out of control, we hear that they gave a call to Producer Vipul D Shah and asked him to rein in his actors, lest the show suffers more damage.
An actor who did not want to be named said that he had been asked to keep quiet. But he apparently asked the production house, as to why they had not intervened when the drama first began. “The buck should have stopped with Farhan,” the person confided in us.
Incidentally the production house had tried to offer a face saving device to Farhan by letting him claim that he had quit the show. However he did not relent forcing Optimystix to pull the plug on him, indicated one of our sources.
The channel’s realization however belated, seems to make sense as the latest ratings have not shown any jump. This goes on to prove that all the mudslinging has not helped them at all.
We sent text messages to Producer Vipul Shah, Sanaya Irani and Sneha Rajani, Business Head, Sony Entertainment Television, asking for a response, but they preferred to remain silent.
When we sent the same message to Anuj he replied, “Sorry, I have no idea about this.”

Sony TV’s much talked about show Chhanchhan which had been surrounded by controversies from quite a long time has now finally heaved a sigh of relief. After a lot of hullabaloo and repeated blame game, Chhanchhan successfully marked its completion of 50th episode, just yesterday.
For the same, we got in touch with Farhan Khan, who played the main lead right from day one and contributed to the journey of 50 episode till he was replaced by Anuj Sachdeva.
Chhanchhan has completed its 50th episode. How do you feel?
The show has completed its journey of 50 episodes. All my best wishes to each and everyone associated with the show. I really hope the show rocks and climbs up the TRP chart very soon. Not just 50, I wish that Chhanchhan completes 1500 episodes with great popularity and success.
Do you miss Chhanchhan?
Well, ‘missing’ is not the right word I would say, but yes I remember all the friends I made while I was a part of the show. In fact during the course, I developed a real brother-sister bonding with Vividha Kirti who is playing the role of Mansi in the show. Even Dhiraj Miglani and Supriya Pathakji became my good friends. It was a pleasure to work with them.
What has been your fondest memory of this show?
Chhanchhan itself is my fondest memory. It was my first television show and I remember each and every moment I have spent living Chhanchhan. It will always remain close to my heart.
One lesson this show has taught you?
As far as Chhanchhan is concerned, it has taught me a lot of things. In fact, I feel blessed that I was a part of the show. I gave my 100% and lived every second of it with a positive approach. I even came across many comments and articles criticizing me but let me tell you, all sorts of criticisms are welcomed. I’m a very philosophical person and as Sant Kabir has said,
“Nindak niyare rakhiye, angan kuti chhavay
bina pani sabun bina, nirmal kare subhay.”
It means that – Keep your critiques close to you; let their hut be in your courtyard because that way you don’t need soap and water to cleanse your nature! I follow the same path and I don’t mind people speaking bad about me because it’s their opinion, I cannot help it.
What are your views about Sanaya Irani?
Well, Sanaya Irani is really very beautiful. She is a very nice person and an amazing actress. I respect her and I don’t have any grudges against her. In fact, I wish her all the good luck for her future and may she keep shining as always.
But Sanaya Irani has reacted to your earlier statements by wishing you ‘best of mental health and a good career’. How do you respond to that?
We come across so many people in our life. Not necessary all of them will become our friends or everyone will like us. We cannot force anybody; after all it’s an individual’s choice. And whatever the sky is above me, here’s a heart for every fate.”
I believe the best way to live a happy life is to forgive everyone. It’s about living with purpose and truly moving forward. ‘Forgiveness’ is a connection between me and my almighty. And I don’t have any hard feelings for Sanaya, no matter whatever she thinks about me. There is no cold war as such and I presume my statements were misinterpreted and framed in a wrong way that added more oil to the fire. And may be Sanaya’s statements were just a reaction to the much hype created around. I am a very simple guy who follows Mahatma Gandhi. I have never said anything bad about Sanaya.
How about Anuj Sachdeva as the new Manav?
Anuj is a great actor. Why would I say anything bad about him, he is doing his job well and that’s how it should be. In fact, earlier I decided to go on to the sets personally and wish Anuj all the good luck for Chhanchhan but after all the confusion and hyped-controversies, I stepped back.
Any message to your fans?
To all those who have appreciated my work and supported me throughout – Thank you so much. You guys are the real critics and hope you’ll see me with some good work once again.
What about your future plans?
I truly believe that life is a process which continues no matter what the circumstances. In this journey, you meet people, become friends, leave behind some of them and move on again, but the process never stops. Life is just so beautiful to explore. Chhanchhan was a part of my life, and not the end. I’m a born fighter. There are things going around which I cannot talk about as of now, but you’ll soon get to know about it.
