CID 13th July 2012 Written Update

At Salunkhe’s house
Dr Salunkhe on call with ACP tells that Tarika has already reached office and will be sending him the report. He says that he will have his breakfast and will be right there at the forensic lab. Dr Salunkhe asks his cook Balwant for breakfast and realizes that Balwant is missing from the kitchen. He looks back and finds Balwant coming from outside.

Balwant tells that he went out to get milk. Dr Salunkhe scolds Balwant for not informing before going out. Dr salunkhe finds something blue in his omlette. He quickly wears his gloves and wonders how a dangerous blue bottle fly came in his omlette. He shows Balwant the same and tells that, blue bottle fly is the dangerous fly which is born when a dead body starts decomposing. Balwant says that when he made omlette there was no fly in it. Dr Salunkhe enters the kitchen and checks everywhere. He looks at the open window and finds a bottle near the window containing somemore blue bottle flies.

At the forensic lab
Dr Salunkhe enters the lab and looks for Tarika, but doesn’t find her in the lab. He gives her phone a ring and realizes that the phone lies within the lab in her purse. Dr salunkhe wonders where tarika went leaving her bag and not informing anyone. Dr Salunkhe calls ACP to enquire about Dr Tarika but ACP says that Tarika didn’t come to bureau. Dr Salunkhe asks the cleaner outside if he was tarika. The cleaner gullu tells that Tarika came early morning but went out somewhere and while leaving she said she will be back in sometime, but hast returned since an hour. Dr salunkhe plans to wait for some more time for tarika. After two hours, Dr Salunkhe plans to tell ACP about tarika.

At the bureau
Daya tells that Tarika’s maid also has not idea as to where Tarika is. ACP tells that finding dead blue bottle flies in Dr salunkhe’s house and Tarika going missing from the lab is not a coincidence and are related. Daya tells that its 5 hours since tarika is kidnapped but since then no one has contacted them. Just then the watchman enters with a big parcel telling that someone left it at the gate.

They find a watermelon in it and within it there is a CD with Dr Salukhe’s name written on it. In the CD they find Dr Tarika hanging from the rope tied to her neck and is standing on a big ice cube and along with Tarika there are two more people hanging in the same way. ACP says that they will surely save tarika. ACP asks Dr Salunkhe to do the chemical analysis of blue bottle flies.

At the forensic lab
Freddy enters the lab. ACP asks Freddy as to why he came to work as he wasn’t feeling well . Freddy says that he came to know about Tarika and came back. Dr salunkhe asks Freddy to be careful about what he eats outside as he is still recovering from Jaundice. Regarding the bluebottle flies he tells that they have very high percentage of tartaric acid and tartaric acid is high only where there is fermentation may be in place where grapes are fermented to make alcohol.

Near Forensic lab
Freddy and Sachin inquire the milkman about Dr Tarika. The milkman says that he saw Tarika waiting for a lady and when the lady arrived tarika fainted and then the lady put tarika in the car and left.

In a jungle
Daya and Vineet are searching for something in a jungle like place. They see a cottage near by and enter the cottage. They meet the owner of the cottage; Daya looks at a big box and asks as to what is in the box. The owner says that he has no clue as the cottage is always closed and he hardly come there.

Vineet opens the box and they find a dead body in it. He tells that the person was killed brutally, wooden pieces were forced into his body and face to kill him. They find a tag attached to the dead something similar to whats put on the dead bodies in the morgue. Daya checks the tag and finds this written “A gift from me to CID and Dr Salunkhe. Hope you like it. This is your next clue”.

At Tarika’s house
Rajat, Sachin and Freddy reach Tarika’s house. Tarika’s maid says that tarika was expecting priya, her friend to come home from london and meet. Sachin says that he has heard Tarika talk about Priya her college friend who stayed in Colaba. Rajat asks the maid for Tarika’s diary and looks finds Priya’s address and phone number. Rajat calls up Priya and asks about her travel to india to which Priya tells that she cancelled her flight. Sachin tells that if Priya is in London then the girl whom tarika met today morning was not Priya.

At the Forensic lab
Sachin asks if the kidnapper is trying to mislead them giving them wrong clues. ACP says a no and tells that the kidnappers first clue, the blue bottle flies led them to the ware house where they found the dead body and the second clue so the kidnapper is playing a game with them.

Dr Salunkhe tells that the person died 82hrs before and he died due to cardiac arrest so my be his body was stolen from a morgue. Dr salunkhe adds that the wood found in the dead body is the type of wood which is used to make seats which is strong and stays long. They also find a bite mark on the dead body. Freddy wonders why would someone bite a dead body to which Salunkhe says that it’s a clue to reach the person who bit the dead body. From the saliva test of the bite mark Dr salunkhe finds that the person who bit had a habit of chewing tobacco.

ACP tells that mostly people who work in the furniture shops chew tobacco so they should find out the shops where that special kind of wood is used and where the workers chew tobacco and also should find out from the morgues if there are any missing dead bodies.

At the bureau
ACP gets a call saying that from the kandivali morgue three dead bodies went missing three days back. ACP wonders if the two people hanging with Tarika were the dead people that went missing from the kandivali morgue. ACP asks Sachin to find out if someone from inside the morgue was involved in the dead bodies going missing.

At the kandivali Morgue
The incharge of the morgue tells that the dead bodies that went missing had no relatives and lists the numbers of the dead bodies out of which one is numbered 25, which was the second clue.

At the bureau
Vineet tells that there are 3 stores where that special kind of wood is used i.e worli, viraar and bandra. ACP tells that the morgue is in kandivali may be some theft might have happened in the store in bandra.

At the morgue
The ward boys mukund and gagan tell that the dead bodies were stolen on 8th july when they were on night duty. They say that an accident occurred on the road that night so they went to check it out and that is when the dead bodies were stolen. Rajat and sachin slap the ward boys and tell that the dead bodies are kept in the basement and the room is sound proof then how did they hear the voice. The ward boys confess that they sold the dead bodies to a person who came with a lorry.

At the furniture shop
Vineet asks the owner of the shop if any wood was stolen from his shop two or three days back. The owner gets shocked as to how the police knows about it. He says that wood was stolen by one of his employee karam. Vineet asks if he chews tobacco to which the owner says yes and adds that he just chucked him out of the job.

At the nearby bus stop
A person suddenly faints. Daya and Vineet reach there instantly and find that its karam who is dead. They find another note in his pocket.

At the bureau
The note says “if you find out who killed karam then you will move closer to finding tarika” ACP asks the people who were standing with karam as to if they saw anything. One person says that he asked karam for the news paper and as soon as he handed over the news paper karam had a pain in his leg and he feel down and died, Daya tells that someone killed him by piercing the poisonous pin in his leg.

ACP asks Daya as to how didn’t he see the murderer when he had reached there as soon as karam died. Suddenly Daya remembers that he saw a person in brown suit running away and he had a colorful umbrella in his hand and may be the umbrella was the weapon used to kill karam. ACP asks Daya to go to the bus stand and inquire. Freddy calls ACP and tells that the lorry in which the dead bodies were taken belonged to jaggi who runs a transport company in khar.

At the bus stand
A person who works in a coffee shop stops Abhijeet & team and asks if they are looking for the brown suit guy who had a colorful umbrella. He says that the brown suit guy wants to meet Freddy alone at 3;30. Freddy asks Abhijeet and team to leave and he waits for the brown suit guy in the cafeteria.

At the transport company
The lorry driver even before daya sir slapping confesses that he picked the dead bodies and left it at “jhemli gali” and he did it for money. He says that a person came to take the dead bodies and when he was putting the dead bodies in the car, he got a phone in which he said that he would be going to colaba.

At the forensic lab
Freddy arrives at the forensic lab in a shocked state and tells that balwant is the person behind all the plan.

Flashback
Balwant arrives at the cafeteria and orders for two ice tea. He says that he is doing all this just to make CID dance on his finder tips and if they catch him then they will never find Tarika. He says that CID will never be able to find Tarika without his help and only his clues can help them find tarika. Freddy asks for the clue for which balwant says that he has already given the clue. He also asks them to find the clue quickly as it would vanish in another few hours.

Abhijeet asks if he gave anything or any hint in his dialogs to which Freddy says that there was nothing which he gave. Suddenly Freddy gets a pain in his stomach. ACP asks if he ate or drank anything to which Freddy tells that balwant asked him to drink the ice tea. Dr Salunkhe tells that there should be something in the ice tea. He scans freddy and finds that there was dye in the ice tea and this dye highlights the infected parts of the body and Freddy’s liver was highlighted because he recently had jaundice and balwant called freddy only because he knew that freddy recently had jaundice. ACP says that the next clue is something related to Freddy’s jaundice. ACP asks Freddy as to where he went for his jaundice treatment to which fredy replies VNP hospital.

At the VNP hospital
Abhijeet and team inquire about any unused place in the hospital to which the doctor tells that the old wing of the hospital is not used anymore and will be brought down next month. The team checks that wing and recognizes it to be the same place that they saw in the DVD footage. The team wonders where balwant vanished with tarika and the two dead bodies. Abhijeet remembers the lorry driver telling Daya about the kidnapper’s next destination as colaba. Suddenly Sachin remembers that tarika’s friend also stayed in colaba. Abhijeet and team decide to go to Priya’s house

At some place
Balwant and a lady are standing near Tarika who is tied to a chair with some wires attached to her head. Balwant says that CID will be able to find her but dead. Balwant is about to give an electric shock to tarika when the team enters and shoots balwant.

The team catches balwant but balwant says that he was successful in bringing down CID. He says that his photos will be printed in newspapers a person in front of whom CID lost. Abhijeet tells that he is mad. Sachin asked as to why he killed karam to which he says that karam was not his friend and was only a pawn. Abhijeet asks rajat to take him away. Abhijeet tells that they were all very tensed for her.

Dr Salunkhe enters his house. Someone is keeping an eye on Dr salunkhe from behind the trees. Dr salunkhe calls up tarika and asks her to take rest.
