‘Confusion’ leads to BCL ‘on air’ delay on Sony TV

Viewers who have been anxiously waiting to see their favourite stars play cricket and do some drama on the ground in Sony Entertainment Television’s BCL, will have to wait a little longer.

The first of a kind sports reality show Box Cricket League, that was to hit TV screens from 7 December has now been pushed back for a week and will now air from 14 December.

Produced by Balaji Telefilms, BCL will have six teams comprising of more than 100 celebs coming together to compete on the cricket field.

It is anchored by VJ Andy and Kavita Kaushik.

A source lets in, “There had been a misunderstanding and thus 7 December was announced, but BCL was always planned to go mid of the month only and that’s how the post productions has been planned.”

A channel representative confirmed the news.

BCL will air every Sunday-Friday 7: 30 pm. The slot currently holds repeat telecasts.
