Bhabho doing aarthi. The windows are closed. Bhabho is having flashbacks of Bhabhasa’s words praising SurYa. SurYa are looking at the closed window sadly. Sandhya remembers to light the candle. Only two candles are left and she lights one. Suraj is upset and unable to sleep. Sandhya too is in thoughts.
The next morning, Sandhya is preparing tea. Suraj comes after bathing. He opens the cupboard and sees clothes are not there. Sandhya remembers she had dried them on the balcony. Suraj goes to balcony but sees no clothes there. He calls Sandhya who then goes to see herself. The clothes were not there. They wonder what would have happened and think clothes are stolen by thieves. Suraj has no kurta to wear now as he has wet the one he wore in the night. Sandhya apologizes to him and he consoles her there is a solution.
In RM, all the Rathis in the hall. ViNa, Mombatti, Chavvi, chotu and chathuri take Bhabho and Bhabha’s blessings. Chathuri is limping and Meena teases her asking whether she jumped from one balcony to another to steal things. Chathuri answers stealing is Meena’s job and she would not do it. She then says she got hurt and leg is paining so much that she cannot do any work and Meena has to do it. Meena excuses she is dressed up for the festival and would not do any other work. Bhabho gifts them all new clothes. Chavvi asks for her new dress and Bhabho calls her to give it. Bhabho gets emotional and asks Chavvi to wear the dress as next year she would be in her in-laws house. Chavvi says if it was not for SurYa, she would have left in her mayka.
SurYa come to Rathi mansion. Meena who is praising Bhabho for the new clothes sees them and is surprised. All are surprised to see Suraj in his vest. Meena asks what happened and Sandhya tells her she had put all the clothes for drying in the balcony and forgot to take them back in the evening and now all the clothes are stolen. Bhabho scolds Sandhya for this. Bhabhasa defends Sandhya but Bhabho scolds her a lot mentioning all the things she did during the last 15 days like the ink mark on Suraj’s kurta, buying pale vegetables and costly vegetables, flowing ghee on the road, etc. She taunts Sandhya for being good at studies but poor in all the household work.
Precap: All are in the mandir and Daisa and other ladies also there. Mombatti do aarthi and pass the aarthi plate to Suraj who takes it. Bhabho who is standing in the middle takes it from Suraj and all are shocked.
