In the morning Puran is walking with the money thinking he can get work easily in Bombay as he could not get work in Bombay, Jaggu, Janardhan and Manohar come when Puran ask what happened so they say that they have realized that when they have to live together then what is the need to be angry, Bhim says that people tend to become friends even when they were enemies and so asks him to be their friends, Puran agrees when Jaggu says they should go to drink alcohol when Janardhan asks if he does not drink but Manohar informs he should drink with them, they forcefully take Puran away while Phulari is standing there, she thinks that once Puran comes to the Chawl while being drunk then would be thrown out of the Chawl, she would see how Ramji, Rama and everyone else are able to save him, along with Bhim Rao.
Bhim Rao gives the file to the Sethji who stops him saying today is the day of giving the salary, Sethji hands Bhim the money who thanks him when Sethji even gives the advance to Shishupal saying it is the advance which would help him in setting up his house, Shishupal is hesitant when Sethji gives him the money which he is holding in his hands, he gets a smile on his face and keeps looking at Sethji.
The manager is also giving the money to the workers one by one when it is finally the turn of Rama, Lakshmi and Karuna, Manager says that when Rama came first it was to argue but she has started doing very good work here so he hands her the money and explains he will give her some more in the future, he even gives Lakshmi some more money as she has even done his work in his absence. The manager gives less money to Karuna explaining that she does not work in his absence however Karuna replies it is not the case, the manager asks Rama to tell if Karuna does not work saying he has heard how she talks of values and if she says that Karuna does work then he will give the full money. Rama thinking of when Karuna would go to sleep says that she indeed does not work, Karuna angrily turns to Rama before leaving, Manager praises Rama for being honest so asks her to leave but be on time tomorrow as the owner is about to come, the manager thinks he got successful in his plan but the three of them should return to their house
Bhim is walking with Shishupal who asks him to go an they would meet tomorrow, Bhim stops him saying that one thing is left, he asks Shishupal to keep some money as it would help him but Shishupal asks what is the need for it, Bhim replies he is trying to set his new house and it requires a lot of money, they both work together and it is suitable. Shishupal thinks of when the women from his society did not give him water, Bhim asks him what happened, he replies that people from his class donot even give water to Bhim Rao but he is giving him money from his own salary, Bhim asks what is the need to cry in it and he forcefully gives the money to Shishupal who holding both of his hands apologizes to Bhim on behalf of his people, he hugs Bhim tightly who gets worried.
In the night Karuna is calling Bala who asks what happened when Karuna informs she does not want to live with Lakshmi and Rama. Jija Bai asks what has she one, Meera coming from behind also asks the same thing, Karuna says that the manager was blessing Lakshmi while even Rama has supported her against her, and the manager cut the money from her salary to give to Lakshmi. Rama entering the house says it is a lie, and reveals she does not work properly so the money was deducted. Karuna questions if someone had made her swear on her husbands life that she should say it, she even asks Lakshmi why does she not tell the manager to give someone else the task. Rama asks what about the slap that she hit Lakshmi with in front of everyone, Rama says that Karuna has gotten so stubborn that she does not know anything, Karuna replies she wants distribution of the property, Ramji coming from behind explains it is the worst thing however Bhim says that distribution is a nice thing which he accepts and believes in, Rama asks what is he talking about, Bhim says he prefers distribution of supporting the needy and those who are in need as this is how society works, he tells Karuna tat relations should never be distributed along with the house because if they spread a bit of love then it causes a lot of good things, if the land is not distributed so he asks Karuna to not do it, because it ha happened before when all the relations had gotten weak, and when the relations are strong then they can bear a lot of troubles so she should not distribute it.
Karuna says that Rama pretends as she is the owner of the godown while she is nothing and here Bhim is requesting her to not do it, but she tells when she does not want to live together then what can they do about it. Bhim agrees that if she does not want to live then should throw the belongings of him and Rama outside, as they would live but she should not distribute it since it is good to leave the house rather then to distribute it. Bhim holding the hand of Rama says that when Karuna would throw their things outside the house then they will leave, he goes into the room. Lakshmi says Karuna should even throw her things as she would also leave, Karuna then turning to Bala asks him to throw the things outside right now as she does not want to live with anyone. Jija Bai smiles thinking everyone should live as this is what she desires, Ramji says she should even throw his things explaining this is what was left to see in life, he angrily walks out of the house. Meera going to Karuna asks her to even throw her things as she also does not want to live here, Karuna asks Bala to throw the things of everyone outside, he asks if she got mad asking if he should even throw the things of Baba and Bua, Karuna replies they are doing it purposefully when Bala asks why does she do it intentionally explaining if she has a problem then they would leave. Jija Bai asks why would she leave as she is the eldest daughter in law, Karuna leaves after angrily throwing the coins on the floor, Bala kneels to pick them up, Jija Bai thinks what she desires is happening.
