Honey Singh to ‘personally’ pick up India’s Raw Superstar contestants from their homes

Star Plus’ attempt to get India’s raw talent on India’s Raw Star (Saibaba Telefilms) with the Indian rock star Yo Yo Honey Singh is finding his full support.

The singer has been putting in all his time and energy in getting the right talent on board.

As reported in the media earlier, unlike the other reality shows India’s Raw Star held an online audition process. And the latest is that Yo Yo has selected the contestants through the process.

Furthermore, if sources are to be believed he will be picking up these contestants from their homes, personally.

Yes, the lucky finalists will get to come down to Mumbai with Yo Yo, for he will make it a point to reach their door steps.

The artist has already picked up contestants from Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Delhi and Banaras.

So, will he be personally picking up all the contestants? “We are not very sure about it yet, but we’ll have a clear picture in few weeks. As of now, he has picked up a handful of them,” said a source.

The source further went on to add, “Honey has been extremely cooperative with the team and is personally involved into every aspect of it.”

The shooting for the same will begin sometime in August.

We tried contacting producer Gajendra Singh but he remained unavailable for comment.
