I am crazy for online shopping; it’s much sensible and saves time and energy- Arti Puri

Lovable and jovial Arti Puri, who is seen as Trisha in Colors TV’s Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, impressed everyone with her negative avatar. She is stylish both on and off screen. In conversation with us she shared some fashion fundas…

Fashion is: I don’t follow trend. All I see is good style and comfort.

Who chooses your clothes? I choose my clothes.

Do you wear accessories? I don’t like to wear accessories, not even a watch. But I have a liking for shoes and bags.

Do you follow any brands? Not really.

Favourite shopping destination: Bangkok and being a Punjabi I like to shop in Amritsar. In Mumbai… I like to shop everywhere. But these days I am crazy for online shopping. It’s much more sensible and it saves your time and energy.

Most expensive buy: I bought a shoe from London worth rupees 20K.

Clothes you are comfortable in: Not any particular it depends upon my mood. And I believe in variety.

Favorite designer: It should be Manish Malhotra. Wish one day even he styles my clothes.

Must-have in your wallet: Sun screen, perfume, debit cards, lip gloss, sanitizers and kajal.

Favourite perfume: I like to wear men’s perfume.

Colour that fills your wardrobe: I like wearing all the colours but black and white is my favourite.

Describe “Sale” in one word: I don’t believe in sale. I think it’s all tactics to toy with customers.

Currently your wardrobe is over-flowing with: With shoes. I simply love wearing different shoes.

You have hardest time getting dressed for: I take time to dress up when I have to go for any professional meetings as you have to dress up properly and you can’t wear casuals.

Any fashion disaster you have come across recently: I hate it when girls wear closed shoes on short skirts. It really puts me off.

If you had to choose a fashion era, which period will it be:

I loved the era when Asha Parekhji’s used to flaunt her figure in
the retro look, specially her eye make-up. She was truly a diva.
