“I am looking forward to take up a role as good as Maanvi”

says Nia Sharma on the type of roles she is looking forward to as the show Ek Hazaron Mein… comes to an end.

Siddharth Malhotra’s popular daily soap Ek Hazaroon Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus is soon going off air. The mythological show Mahabharat is all set to replace the show soon.

On the show Ek Hazaroon Mein Meri Behna Hai going off air, we got in touch with Nia Sharma who is seen playing the role of Maanvi. She spoke about her journey so far in the show, her fondest memory, the thing that she is going to miss the most, the roles she is looking forward too and much more.

Lets have a look on what she said…

On her journey so far in the show, “There are tears in my eyes when I go back to the journey of my show. It has been a fantastic journey throughout. My entire journey as a whole is very memorable for me, the cast and the crew, the outdoor shoot fun… I am going to miss everything a lot. I have bonded really well with the entire cast and crew and we felt like a family. I am happy with the fact that my show is not ending with any grudges or fight with anybody on the sets or in the crew. It is very much a happy ending for me.”

Her fondest memory, “It has to be the beautiful 2 months of the shoot in Hrishikesh and Mussorie. We spent some awesome days there. I have a lot of memories from those days. But the bitter fact of life is that we can’t go back in time.”

So what kind of roles is she looking forward to, “I am looking forward to taking up a role as good as Maanvi or any role that is even better than Maanvi. Maanvi was a very powerful character and I am satisfied portraying this character. I am getting a couple of offers but I will take up something which is only as challenging as the role that I played now or better than this.”

In the meantime she is also open to reality shows, “I am open to reality shows too. Recently I had got an offer for the upcoming season of Nach Baliye, but I couldn’t take up as I do not have a Baliye (laughs). I was also approached for Jhalak Dikhla Jaa which I couldn’t take as I was doing my show Ek Hazaroon Mein Meri Behna Hai that time.”

Talking about Bigg Boss she said, “Well, if I am offered Bigg Boss, I would happily take it up. I would go in the house, have fun and enjoy the journey. I have watched few of the previous episodes and it is a good show.”

We wish Nia Sharma all the very best for her career ahead!
