“I believe that you make your own character”: Kinshuk

We chats with Kinshuk Mahajan about the philosophy of life, career and much more…

How has your journey been so far?
My journey has been very nice so far. I am lucky that I have made it so far in this industry even though I don’t belong to Mumbai. I have made a name and place for myself and people know me well now(smiles) and this makes me very happy. All thanks to my fans who have made me what I am today. The best part is that I have done good shows till now which adds a ‘Great Experience’ to my journey.

What kind of roles you are looking to grab in future?
I have done many different type of roles in my journey in the television world. My main focus always stays on the story line and not on the role that I am given. If the story is appealing then I accept the role instantly. Even in future if I am offered any role I wont judge it by the kind of role but surely according to the concept. I believe that ‘You make your own character’.

How did acting happen to you?
I am from Delhi where I pursued a film making course and a Diploma in Theatre from ‘Shree Ram Art Center’ in Mumbai. the journey actually began from this point. I got my first show ‘Dhoom Macha De’ which was a rage on Disney Channel. Then I was offered Bidaai, Chand Chupa Badal Mein, Afsar Bitiya and so on.

If you were not an actor what would you be?

If I wasn’t an actor I would had been a Businessman.

A thought from which you have learnt in life?
Always be down to earth and honest in your work.

Current television show that you love the most and why?
I love ‘Ballika Vadhu’. It is very difficult to run a show for a long period of time, but Balika Vadhu has made it so far with its amazing concept.

The day which made you proud of yourself?
I wont pick a particular day but whenever I get good compliments from people it makes me happy as well as proud about the fact that I am doing a good job and people are praising me for the same.

A message for your fans?
I am thankful to my fans and truly respect them for showering their love on me. Whatever I am today is all because of them.
