I don’t experiment with food – Krystle D’souza

The super charming and gracious Krystle D’souza has left no stone unturned keeping the audience entertained by her fabulous performances on television. Krystle shares some fitness tips with us.

Personal fitness mantra?

Work, work and work. I get no time to go to the gym but I make sure to keep myself hydrated by drinking lots of water. It also helps me to detox and keep people healthy.

Personal diet mantra?

I eat lesser quantity of food at regular intervals. I eat every two hours as it helps improve metabolism of my body.

Are you a foodie?

I am not a foodie at all. I eat to live and not live to eat.

Exercise routine?

I wake up in the morning and run around doing my household work which takes me half an hour. Apart from that I go for a swim after shooting. But that too is limited to once or twice a week depending on the time I get.

Are you a vegetarian or a non-veg?

I am a preferred vegetarian.

Favourite cuisine?

I love eating Punjabi food.

Favourite dish?

I can eat curry chawal everyday.

A must on your breakfast table?

A cup of tea is a must on my breakfast table. It makes me feel fresh. For breakfast I prefer eating anything cooked by my mother.

Sugar or sugar-free tea/coffee?

I prefer sugar in my tea.

Lunch generally consists of?

My lunch consists of 2 vegetables, 1 salad and dal. I do like eating chapatis or rice with it

Dinner generally consists of?

My dinner is limited to a big bowl of vegetable salad and a glass of milk.

Dessert delights?

I have a sweet tooth and love all Indian sweets. My favourite would be kalakand.

My favourite drink (non-alcoholic)?

If I am at a party, I prefer drinking red bull as it helps me stay awake.

My favourite drink (alcoholic)?

I prefer drinking Sangria made in red wine.

Most unusual dish I have tasted?

I do not experiment much as I am not a foodie. I basically do not consume things which do not appeal to me. A lot of people have been talking about their love for Sushi of late but I would not like to try it.

Experiment with food?

No, I do not experiment with food.

On the streets I love to have?

I like eating pani puri, sev puri and dahi puri. But I do not have it from the streets, I prefer going to a furnished stall as I might fall sick.

Do you cook?

I cook sometimes. I know how to make Maggie. And when my mother is not around and I have to make breakfast, I make eggs.

Fitness tip?

As actors we do not get much time to work-out and we are constantly on our toes. That is how we stay fit. I would advise all the people to stay active and not be lazy as it helps one stay fit.
