We recently got in touch with the very cute and adorable kid Ashnoor Kaur. In a candid chat, she spoke about her stint in Colors’ Durga, her television experience and her fondness for girly things.

On her character in Durga, she said “I love the show a lot. The story has it that Maa Durga comes on earth to kill Kailey. This is when you will get to see nine avatars of the deity.”

At a young age, she has already made a mark for herself and won viewers’ hearts. So out of her TV stint, which show is her favourite? “Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha and Jhansi Ki Rani are my favourites.

Jhansi Ki Rani because it was my first show and I was really young then. I still recall that everybody on the sets loved me a lot. I love Na Bole… because I enjoyed working in it.”

When we asked her about her favourite co-star till date, she promptly replied, “It’s Mohan Bhaiya (Kunal Karan Kapoor). We bonded really well on the sets.”

Since the young artiste has done both mythos as well as daily soaps, when we asked as to which genre she likes best, she answered, “I like both. One has to wear a lot of costume and jewellery in a mythological show but then I’ve got used to it. So I like it that way too.”

So what about studies? “I study in Ryan International School, Kandivili, Mumbai. And since I am good at studies, I do not have to go to the school every day. I just go during my exams and manage to get an A+ in all my papers. I usually study in-between my shoots with my mother in attendance, as she has earlier been a teacher.”

The little star is a star in school too, as she shared, “I have a lot of friends in school; they take my autograph and also get clicked with me. I like it even more when my teachers do the same.”

On a playful note, she stated, “I like Barbie dolls, basketball and badminton. I also love dressing up my Barbie dolls. In fact, my dad has gifted me a make-up box and an artificial nail set. On the other hand, if you are buying me a bicycle, it should be pink in colour.”

Lastly, she told us that she dreams to be an actor and doctor after she grows up. And how will she manage to be both? “Today too, I am studying as well as acting; I will manage even then.”

All the best…Ashnoor!!!
