Ishani Sharma’s ‘painful’ coincidence in Star Plus’ Humko Tumse Ho Gaya

Star Plus’ Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hain Pyar Kya Karein (Panorama Entertainment) is presently witnessing Anokhi aka Ishani Sharma’s one-legged ordeal wherein as per the first challenge given to her, she needs to stand on one leg and complete all the household chores.

Yes Anokhi has injured her leg in the show, and thus is forced to stand on one leg.

However it was a startling coincidence for actress Ishani, as she fitted the bill perfectly to shoot for this sequence.

Wondering what we are talking about?

Well, not many know that Ishani has a rod on one of her legs, as a result of a fracture that happened two years back.

Says Ishani, “In the show Anokhi had an injury on her leg. And for real too, I have had a fracture followed by surgery on one of my legs. It was a funny coincidence. But on a serious note, it was tough for me to enact this scene. I had to keep my weaker leg (operated) in the air and stand on the stronger leg for the entire shoot. The rod inside hurt as I kept my leg bent for a long time.”

Speaking about her accident and recovery Ishani avers, “That was indeed an ordeal. It has been two years now since I got myself operated, but the scars of it still remain on my leg.”

Hats off to the girl for going through the pain all over again, for a sequence…
