We have already reported that talented actress Gauri Pradhan Tejwani is returning to TV with Balaji’s show. Now we give you an exclusive news about her character.
The talented and good looking actress Gauri Pradhan Tejwani will be making her come back on the small screen with Colors and Balaji’s new venture, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi The actress talks to us in detail about her character in the show.
“I play a very strong role of a woman who is practical in life. She marries a man who is 15 to 20 years elder to her. Prithiv Sankhal is going to play my husband on screen and Sarita Joshi will be playing my mother in law,” says Gauri.
Further elaborating on the story line, she states, “In the show my mom-in-law doesn’t like me. The reason behind this hatred is that her son has gone against her wishes and married me. So you’ll see that nok-jhok. But my character is such that she doesn’t take the nagging from her mom in law. Though she does respect her mom in law but at times my character is such that she won’t take any nagging and you’ll see how I smartly give it back Saritaji in the show.”
Describing about her look in the show, Gauri says that she will be seen in a modern look, “The look is definitely going to be a modern but you’ll not see me in sleeveless blouses. As I’m married in a Gujju family, the avatar is designed accordingly but you’ll see the richness in it. Basically I belong from a very rich family like the ones who lives in Walkeshwar.”
“The shoot of the show has just started day before yesterday and I really felt good to be back on the sets. It felt like I never left as nothing much has changed. Though I’m enjoying this and also eagerly waiting for the serial to come on air. I think it should come by end of this month,” concludes the actress.
It would be interesting to see whether Gauri in a mature avatar. Isn’t it?

June 12, 10:16Bani to end on a happy note; Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi to go on air from June 24!
TellyBuzz had already informed the viewers with the news that Bani – Ishq Da Kalma that airs on Colors will soon be going off air and a new Balaji Telefilms show Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi will be aired. Uttaran will be given a 10:30 time slot and Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi will get a 10:00 pm time slot.
This new Balaji Telefilms venture which will showcase Shakti Arora and Radhika Madan as its leads will go on air from 24th of June. Bani will air its last episode on 20th of June i.e. Friday.
When spoken to Damini Shetty, Producer of Bani, she avers, “In today’s time there are shows that are running for only three or four months. In their comparison, Bani had a good run of fifteen months. Starting a new show is like giving birth to a new baby. And obviously it is painful when a show comes to an end because everyone gets too attached to the show.”
Well, regarding the show Bani, it will like every show end on a happy note. The track currently involves two issues, firstly where Rajji is trying to find out the truth of Vicky and secondly, Parmeet is trying hard to fulfill Bani’s wish of making an NGO.
Now, in the upcoming episodes you will see Rajji (Neha Bagga) will disclose the truth that Vicky is not an NRI and was playing games. Also, the audiences shall see Guggi (Rishi Dev) and Kukki (Ekroop Bedi) getting married, Parmeet will open an NGO and Rajji will deliver a baby. This marks the end of the show.
