Its weddings galore for Mrunal Thakur as she attends shaadi functions of her reel sister, Pragya, on Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya and her real sister, Lochan, in Nashik…
TV actress Mrunal Thakur, who plays Bulbul in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya, is busy with two wedding preparations ” in real and reel life. Her sister Lochan will get married soon and she has to visit her home in Nashik often to help with the arrangements. On the other hand, her show also has a similar wedding track currently. Says the actress, “In the show, my sister Pragya (Sriti Jha) is getting married and we are seen preparing for it. So, I am actually running around doing the same things on the shoot for Pragya and at home for my sister.”
Mrunal Thakur and Sriti Jha share a special sisterhood on the sets of Kumkum Bhagya. The 21-year-old Mrunal looks up to Sriti for advice as well as for all the masti on the sets. Their close relationship blossomed spending time together shooting for Kumkum Bhagya. Mrunal is now split between her reel sister’s onscreen wedding and her real sister’s real wedding.
While on one end, Mrunal does not want to miss out on a single wedding related activity back home, she knows for a fact that there is no way in which she can give her shoot schedule a miss given she is an important part in the wedding in the show.
Kumkum Bhagya’s Pragya (played Sriti Jha) is soon to tie the knot with Suresh (played by Faisal Rashid) on the show. However, the couple continues to face one challenge after the other. While in the beginning, Suresh confessed that he had feelings for Pragya’s younger sister, Bulbul, he finally realizes that it is Pragya who can take care of his house and is accepted by his family. When he finally makes a proposal to Pragya, he however believes that she is being pressurized for this marriage. Despite the doubt, the two families approach their astrologer only to realize that their kundlis don’t match. Will Suresh risk everything to marry Pragya?
