Jaskaran Singh turns a Gangster in Sony TV’s Encounter!

Known for playing a fun loving and jovial character in Do Dil Ek Jaan, Jaskaran will be seen playing a gangster in Sony TV’s Encounter.

Jaskaran Singh who rose to fame with Miley Jab Hum Tum is all geared up to play a gangster in Sony TV’s crime based show Encounter. He was last seen in Life OK’s show Do Dil Ek Jaan as Machinder.

Jaskaran will be seen in a different role and is quite excited to play a gangster in the show, “Yes I’m playing a gangster in the series but there is a twist. Well I don’t have the full idea of the script as I’ve just started the shoot, from today but it’s nice to be part of such show and audience will see my different side,” he says.

On probing him, Jaskaran further says, “There is a gang of three people and I’m one of them. My character is such that he doesn’t want to be in this crime world but gets carried away. Though he later decided to tell everything to the police and it is when a major twist will take place in the story.”

He further adds, “When he goes to the police, they ask him to get back in the gang and informs them about each and every move the goons are making. I turn a police informer. Now whether I die or stay alive at the end is mystery for me too.”

On being asked Jaskaran about how did he bag the show he says, “Actually everything happened so fast that even I couldn’t get time to think ki kaise hua.” He remembers, “I got a call last night and they asked me to give a look test. At around 9 pm I went for a look test and things went fine. Earlier I was told that we would start the shoot in two days but late night I got the call again saying that we are starting shooting tomorrow and today, here I’m on the sets.”

So what is in store for Jaskaran? He says, “For now only it’s Encounter but I’m in talks with people and as soon as I finalize anything, will surely let you know. I just hope that people like my avatar in the crime series.”
