Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 15th August 2012 Written Update

Ashu wakes up to find the bed next to him empty. He calls for Nidhi. Nidhi comes with freshly washed hair and sprinkles water droplets to wake Ashu up and they share a cute, romantic moment. Nidhi finally asks him to get out of bed since they’re getting late for the hospital. Ashu gets a little worried and says he has to go to some other place first. Nidhi cheerfully tells him she’ll wait for him.

RN is exhausted and wants to rest. Anji also is tired and comments how honeymoon can be tiring. They again get to the topic of shopping and getting a full-time maid. RN is again worried about the expenses but Anji doesn’t want to do the housework. Anji suggests taking money from her father but RN sarcastically rejects the suggestion and Anji gets a little upset.

Jagan is following Ashu’s car. Ashu finds out Jagan is stalking him and he tells him that he has to find Mallika and this is the best way. They engage in a heated argument. Ashu manages to convince Jagan that he doesn’t know where Mallika is and has come to the hospital for an operation.

Anji is trying to cheer RN up. She apologises and tells him that they will do only what they can afford. RN, in return, promises to work harder and earn more to try and provide her the lifestyle she is used to. Anji convinces RN to take an off and stay home that day.

Ashu gets a call from Nidhi to enquire about the operation. Ashu tells her he will come to Kotnis a while later only. Ashu is worried as he recalls Jagan’s threats. He calls Dr. Bhatia and asks if there is any empty house for rent and the latter manages to provide him a place.

Mr. S visits Anji and RN greets him. Mr. S is appalled that Anji is cooking and has no maid. Anji is elated to see her father but Mr. S doesn’t seem to pleased to see Anji’s condition from the kitchen. RN says they’re trying to find a full-time maid and Anji backs him up and goes to get some tea. Mr. S starts commenting on RN’s size of the house and asks him to shift into his house. RN politely refuses the offer and Anji decides to take matters in her hand since Mr. S is refusing to stop talking. She takes tea for him and manages to make him avoid saying anything offensive to RN. Finally, Mr. S leaves but both RN and Anji seem upset.

Ashu tells Mallika to pack her bags and come with him. He tells her that Jagan has been following him and he has to shift her to a place where Jagan can’t reach her. Mallika says Ashu can’t always hide her and he should leave her to herself. Ashu assures her he’ll take care of everything but Mallika says that Ashu is doing too much considering he has his own life. Ashu says he is doing this all for the sake of their old friendship and nothing else. He goes to wait outside for Mallika.

Ashu takes Mallika far away from the city to the house where she wouldn’t need to get out. He tells her that no one should know she is living here. He also decides to appoint a full-time maid for Mallika who can do all her work and be with her. Mallika says this means he won’t need to come here anymore but Ashu says he’ll drop by once in a while to keep a check on her.
At Kotnis, Nidhi is checking patients and one requires immediate operation. She is surprised that Ashu hasn’t reached yet and calls him up wondering what’s taking him so long. Ashu says he’ll come and explain. Nidhi tells him about the patient and he says he is just reaching.

Anji tells RN that there is no water in the house and RN tells her that they only get water for 4 hours a day. Anji is surprised at this since this never happened in her father’s house. RN says this is their house, not her father’s. RN says he’ll take the clothes and wash them at the municipality’s tap. Anji is appalled at this and complains how life was so much easier before marriage. RN feels bad at this comment but doesn’t say anything (Goodness, Anji is acting like such a spoilt brat! How hard is it for her to understand that there is a difference in the financial standard of a well-established man like her father and someone who is still climbing the ladder of his career).

After the surgery, Nidhi tells Ashu that if he were late, the patient wouldn’t have made it. Ashu tells Nidhi how Jagan has been following him and hence, he had to relocate Mallika to a safer place.

Precap: Nidhi tells Ashu that he’s done whatever he could for Mallika but he should let her be now, they should lead their lives in a way that it has no place for Mallika. Ashu is shocked at this suggestion (Now really, who can blame Nidhi for not wanting to have anything to do with Mallika when every time the latter has wrecked havoc in her life?).
