Kuch Toh Log Kahenge 31st October 2012 Written Update

Everyone is sitting at the dinner table. Khushi is giving a disgusted look to Nidhi since she’s sure that Nidhi complained about him to Ashu. She talks rudely to Nidhi and this pisses Ashu a bit. Kaka drops some water on the floor and this gives Khushi an idea. Nidhi asks Ashu about his plan for tomorrow. She informs him that she needs to be up by 6 and she will try not to wake him up. Khushi is still pondering over her plan.

RN is having second thoughts about taking responsibility of a baby. Anji is understanding his situation but RN gives in anyway. Just as they’re about to *ahem ahem* Mr. S interrupts them (Irony: He was the one who wanted a grandchild). Mr. S enters and says he has come to thank RN for fulfilling his wish, it might be his last wish. This upsets Anji. Mr. S wishes them goodnight and goes. Anji is upset about how her father is talking. RN is also puzzled about why Mr. S is so desperate for a grandchild. RanJi have a small bicker over him but it ends cutely.
Next morning, the alarm rings in Khushi’s room and she wakes up. She goes to the kitchen and takes out oil from the cabinet and pours it on the floor so that Nidhi slips

Nidhi wakes up at sharp 6am and Khushi sees her coming. While trying to escape from the kitchen, she herself slips on the oil and hurts her head badly (Karma, my dearies). AshNi tend to her wounds but the bleeding doesn’t stop and they decide to take her to the hospital.

RanJi go to meet the gynac and they prepare for Anji’s tests. When Anji goes, the doctor tells RN that Anji has some complications and she should take some medicines. She requests not to tell this to Anji since she is already stressed and this won’t be good for her. Anji comes outside and RN lies that Anji is perfect and gynac has just given some vitamins.

A doctor tells AshNi that Khushi is fine. Nidhi is worried that Khushi won’t be able to handle the pain but Ashu tries to cheer Khushi up. The doctor says that Khushi should be kept under observation for a while. AshNi are more than happy since they’ll be able to look after her better since they’re in the hospital for most of the time (Great, so now we have her in Kotnis as well).
AshNi tells Baba and DB about Khushi’s condition. DB scolds her for being in the kitchen so early in the morning. Baba narrates some funny incidents from Ashu’s childhood and Ashu takes it sportingly.

Khushi is shifted to the room and Nidhi is to stay with her. But Khushi asks Nidhi to go and Ashu to stay with her (Ok, just when I started liking her a wee-bit, she had to be such a rascal again!). They tell her that AshNi will take turns working and looking after her. Baba and DB leave. Ashu also hugs her and then leaves. Nidhi sits by Khushi’s side. Khushi tells Nidhi she knows Ashu is still angry with her and that is why he left her alone. Nidhi assures her that Ashu only has some important work and asks her to sleep.

RN enters Khushi’s room to enquire about her. He and Nidhi discuss about kids and their pranks. Khushi is actually awake and praises RN for taking her side unlike Nidhi Ashu comes and RN offers to sit by Khushi in case Ashu has to leave again and Nidhi isn’t present. Nidhi and RN leave and Ashu sits by Khushi.

Ashu takes Khushi’s hand and apologises to her for scolding her; but it was for her own good, he gets hurt more than her when he scolds her. He also admits that while a part of him wants the police to find her so that she can go home but he also wants to keep her with him forever. Khushi’s face twists with sadness and she starts crying while keeping her eyes closed only (I don’t know if it’s just me but I really can’t connect with Ashu-Khushi’s bond).

At home, Nidhi is packing a basket for Khushi. She apologises to Kaka for blaming him for Khushi’s fall. Kaka doesn’t take it to heart but he’s puzzled about the oil on the floor. Nidhi asks him not to worry but herself ponders. She discovers oily fingerprints on the wall of the kitchen and realises that Khushi had poured oil on the floor so that Nidhi falls.
