The elegant Manasi Salvi portrayed the character of Avantika to the ‘T’ in Rajshri Productions’ Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara on Star Plus. But now the actress is moving on, as she feels there is not much left in the character to portray.

And this comes after talented actress Sonali Verma quit her long-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to get married.

Well, so do we see a replacement as Avantika is quite popular a character? The answer is a ‘no’, as the makers have decided to end her character right here.

Wow, what a twist… Here are more details on how the character will get bumped off.

A reliable source tells us that Avantika will breathe her last while trying to save her sister Preeti (Ashlesha Sawant). Preeti, as viewers may be aware, suffers from a kidney ailment and the only way to save her will be a kidney transplant. And being the perfect elder sister, Avantika will volunteer to donate her kidney to her sibling.

But the twist will come when on the operation table some complication will arise wherein the doctors will only be able to save Preeti while Avantika, after donating her kidney will pass away.
This loss will shatter the entire family and the most affected would be Preeti who will feel guilty for her sister’s death.

When contacted, Manasi remained unavailable for comment.

    CVs, please, don’t remove such a brilliant character as Avantika. You could, instead, do something else with her. For example, Avantika is in coma after the operation, and soon she stops responding, which is why the doctors declare her dead. However, this was just a clinical death and she suddenly regains consciousness while the doctors are trying to inform the family about her death. She then decides to hide but keeps watching the reactions of her family,first,to her death and then – to her disappearance. Then she becomes adamant in her decision not to appear until her husband forgives her for donating the kidney and until her sister-in-law Sheela due to having guilty conscious realises her own selfishness.
