Scene 1
Gayatri welcomes Karthik’s friends. She says we couldn’t invite a lot of people. Karthik asks Gayatri you didn’t invite anyone? She says you know everything happened urgently. There was no time. Your friends are here. He says Kusum and her family aren’t here either. Gayatri says they will come. Let me call them. He says Jiya isn’t picking up calls either. Scene 2
Mangal is worried about Kusum. She says I’ve never seen her like this. They have always been together. Kusum isn’t even eating. My heart is shattering. I can’t imagine ever cutting you off. Lakshmi says that will never happen. She says we will always be together. Mausi says I tried to talk to Gayatri. They’re both hurt.

Karthik sits silently. He looks at his pictures with Jiya. he tries to call her but she doesn’t pick up. Gayatri looks at him. She asks where are you going? He says to meet Jiya. Gayatri says she won’t. Karthik hugs her and cries.
