Mark Farokh Parakh excited about his cameo role in Sony TV’s Main Na Bhoolungi

Mark Farokh Parakh, better known as the gizmo freak Ayush in Sony Entertainment Television’s youth crime show Khottey Sikkey, will now be appearing in cameo role in another SET show titled Main Na Bhoolungi (Beyond Dreams) that goes on air on Monday (23 December).

“I play Gappu, one of the office colleagues of the lead girl (Aishwarya Sakhuja). He has a crush on her and everyone knows about it. Since this is a revenge drama, the needle of suspicion falls on Gappu as well,” reveals Mark.

Prior to this, Mark did Mahi Way and more recently he was also seen in Dekha Ek Khwaaab (Sony) and Pavitra Rishta (Zee TV).

Mark accepts that he prefers to do different kind of roles in place of normal TV content. “The Yash Raj produced Khottey Sikkey did very well for the 11.30 pm slot on SET. It rated 1+ which is more then what most of their daily shows are garnering today. But I guess that the late night slot worked against the show. Even today the production house gets large number of mails requesting a second season of the same show,” Mark avers.

The actor is now hopeful that things are gradually changing with the seasonal format gaining currency. “The audiences are maturing up as well and even 24 is doing well,” the actor ends.
