Shlok is recalling Sakshi’s words, which suggested that he should ask Sumeet to give up playing the Dhol so that he can pursue his dreams without being overshadowed by her. He’s in a room, surrounded by conflicting thoughts and voices both for and against his decision. Just as he’s about to pick up Sumeet’s Dhol, she enters the room and questions what he’s doing alone in the dark. She has mehendi applied to her hands and asks Shlok for help with the clasp of her suit. Sumeet tells Shlok about the photos of her mehendi that she posted on social media, which received thousands of likes.
Sumeet shares that she’s been playing the Dhol since childhood because she loves it, but she never imagined it could make her famous and turn into her career. Shlok asks if she can give him something valuable, and she agrees if it brings him happiness. Shlok thinks about Sakshi’s advice, which was to ask Sumeet to give up playing the Dhol. However, he doesn’t mention it to Sumeet and instead advises her to rest well since she’s fasting the next day.
Poonam prepares food for Sumeet and Anju, who are observing the Karva Chauth fast. Poonam plans to feed kheer to Sumeet by her own hands. Sumeet gets emotional, missing her mother, and mentions how she always missed the taste of kheer fed by her mother. Raj arrives, and Poonam teases Sumeet to smile to avoid any misunderstandings. Raj hugs Sumeet and brings gifts for everyone.
Sumeet asks Raj to give Priyanka’s gift to her in the room. Raj gives Priyanka bangles, and she expresses her desire to keep the Karva Chauth fast. However, Raj accidentally drops the bangles box, causing Priyanka to worry about it being a bad omen. She hopes their marriage won’t encounter any issues, and Raj recalls Pankhuri’s accusations. He asks Priyanka what they’ll do if they can’t get married. Priyanka becomes emotional and expresses her trust in Raj, saying that if anything goes wrong, she’ll be devastated. Raj comforts her and reveals he was only joking.
Sumeet inquires about the reason behind Raj’s concern, but just as Raj is about to reveal the truth, Pankhuri intervenes and prevents him from saying anything. All the women in the Chowdhury household perform the Karva Chauth rituals while listening to the story of Satyavan and Savitri from Dadi.
Sumeet senses that both Raj and Shlok seem worried about something but aren’t telling her. Raj gets pulled aside by Pankhuri, who questions if he was about to tell Sumeet the truth. She tries to make Raj feel guiltier and manipulates him using Sumeet’s name, threatening to harm herself if the truth is revealed. Raj claims he’ll confess the truth to Priyanka.
Sumeet receives a call from Sakshi’s school principal to meet her guardian. Shagun is shown at the location, and Sumeet rushes there. Sakshi informs Shagun that they should go celebrate because they have successfully created misunderstandings between Shlok and Sumeet on Karva Chauth. Sumeet observes from a distance and sees Sakshi with Shagun. Shagun informs Sumeet that everything that has transpired is part of her plan.
Precap: Shagun says to Sumeet, Shlok doesn’t doubt Sakshi because he is blinded by success. Sakshi says to Sumeet during Karva Chauth husband and wife gets close but you and your husband will be getting apart, today Shlok will ask you for a gift which is very close to you.
