Old couple open Sai’s gifted batasha/sweet bag and find silver coins instead. They both are amused and think Sai gave them wealth. They return to Sai. Sai says god gave them this gift seeing their true faith, this money will be suffice for their granddaughter’s marriage and even some will be left for their peaceful living. In Kulkarni’s house, Rukmini informs Keshav that Chihu did not open her room door since yesterday and Govinda also did not have anything since that incident yesterday. Keshav walks to Govinda with food and asks him not to show his anger on food. Govinda shouts why her mother’s head is tonsured and why she does not wear colorful saris like Rukmini maami and keep long hair.
A lady Nirmala rushes to Sai seeking help and says her daughter is ill and her
husband has disowned her with her 3 daughters for bearing daughters. Sai says when he used to come to her house begging, she did not tell him anything. Nirmala says earlier situation was not this tough and she tolerated her husband and mother-in-law/MIL’s taunts thinking situation would improve if she bears male child, but after 3 girls, her husband threw her out of his house. Sai says he will meet her husband and explain him.
Govinda resists to eat food. Chihu enters and scolds him that he is not doing any favor by filling his own stomach, he can be hungry if he does not want to. Govinda asks Laxmi’s mother is also a window, but does not wear colorless saris and tonsure her head. Chihu confronts that everyone are bothered about Govinda and not about her, do they realize what she feels when her head is tonsured each month. ‘Govindia walks out of house angrily reminiscing all the recent incidents. Udhav with Pari stops him and asks to see Pari has drawn a beautiful sketch. Govinda walks away saying he does not want to. He then sees a few boys troubling a bald boy and confronts boys to stop troubling boy. Boys taunt that he is supporting bald boy as his whole family is bald, his mother, father, maam/uncle, etc.. Govinda angrily warns to stop.
Sai takes Nirmala and her children back to her husband’s house. Lady’s MIL says she needs a grandson to carry her lineage and perform her last rights/mukhagni, so she has decided to get her son marriage again. Even woman’s husband says he needs a son to take over his business and he can go to heaven only if his son gives mukhagni, so he wants to disown Nirmala and remarry to get a boy. Sai says they pray a devi/woman, but don’t want a woman in their house; even if a son gives mukhagni, one cannot go to heaven if they disown their girl. Man asks what to do then.
Precap: Sai suggests Nirmala and her MIL to repay 1 daughter’s weight worth money to Nirmala and free themselves for life.
