Mere Sai 4th December 2020 Written Episode

Purna comes to her room. She notices Mohan sweating profusely and asks him if he had medicine. He denies. I forgot about it while making preparations for the wedding. Purna panics. Sai told you not to miss even one dose. She starts looking for the medicine.

Sai is looking for the special flower. He finally spots it in a corner. He gets hurt by a thorn first and strong wind blows when he tries to get the flower the next time. It disappears with the wind by the time things become normal again. Bright light falls on Sai. Sai looks at the moon. I was trying to change the destiny but I accept your decision. He bows his head.

Mohan tries calling out to Purna but fails. She has her back to him. He walks towards her with great difficulty and falls down eventually. Purna holds him but he breathes his last. She checks his heartbeats. She screams in shock as she hears nothing.

Sai is sitting quietly in a corner. Tears stream down his face. He chants a shloka.

Savitri and Gangadhar try to revive Mohan but in vain.

Sai takes out a brick from his bag and caresses it. Mohan calls out to Sai. Sai explains that no one can postpone life or death. Mohan says I was weak. I couldn’t fulfil the promise I had made to you. I missed taking that medicine given by you. Sai denies. You weren’t weak. Your duties as Mohan were over. Mohan speaks of his dreams and visions which are still incomplete. Sai assures him that they will live in Purna. She will fulfill them as well. her road is difficult but she will continue walking on it. Her promise to you will give her strength. She will bring light in the lives of thousands of people. This is God’s wish. Mohan folds his hands gratefully and disappears. Sai looks at the brick sadly.

Everyone is gathered at Gangadhar’s house to pay their last respects to Mohan. A lady notices that Purna hasn’t shed a tear till now. She will go in shock this way. Bhama comforts Purna. Digambar enters just then. Purna looks at him. Digambar thinks he wanted to throw me out of the house. He had to leave the world! Gangadhar walks up to Digambar sadly. I lost my son. Digambar tells him to control himself. I warned you that Purna is not auspicious for your son but he dint listen to me. Everyone looks at him and Purna in shock. Digambar says he had to lose his life. Raghupati says you kept a puja for them. How is Purna responsible for Mohan’s death then? Bhama says people are not inauspicious. Digambar says you might find think I say bitter things but Gangadhar knows that my words come true. Puja’s effect comes out positively when people believe in them. Neither Mohan nor Purna believe in me. That puja was bound to fail! Gangadhar says we can discuss this later. What’s done is done. Let’s pray for Mohan’s soul. Digambar sits next to Gangadhar and smirks.

Bhama tells Purna to let her grief come out. Who can change the destiny after all? Purna walks out of there.

Purna runs to Dwarkamai to meet Sai. He is in meditation. She asks him where he was all this time. You dint even come to meet me. Sai opens his eyes. His eyes are red. Purna breaks down. He helps her stand. She says you know everything. You knew that he wasn’t keeping well. why did this happen then? Why dint you try to save me? Why dint you warn me? I would have looked after him myself. Answer me, Sai. There must be a reason. You don’t do anything without a reason. She cries. Sai hugs her. Only time can answer some questions. You wont be able to understand them even I tell you right now. Remember that God has decided a path for all of us. Your life has just begun. I promise you that you wont be alone in this long journey of life. I will always be with you. Purna hugs him. Sai comforts her.

Digambar decides to play his ace card. What did Mohan do! Gangadhar asks him what happened. Digambar says I realized why the havan dint work. Mohan’s soul spoke to me while I was meditating. He goes in the backyard and digs the place where they had buried the gold coins, lemon and chillies. They don’t find anything there. Gangadhar asks him about the things. Digambar says Mohan told me that he took them out as he dint believe me. He believes me now. He has understood that I intended to help you. He is sad that he did that or he would have been alive today. Gangadhar holds Savitri as she cries. I told him not to do it. Digambar remarks that this has happened for the second time. There is no point regretting it now. Let’s fulfill Mohan’s last wish now. He is sure he will get Purna out of the picture with his final move.

Sai gives water to Purna. Do you remember what you said? You said that being together with a guy like Mohan is valuable than all the luxuries of the time combined. I know you would have still married him even if I had told you the truth. She agrees with him. I consider myself lucky that I got to spend a day with him. I couldn’t fulfill the vows made with him but I will fulfill his dream. Sai says Mohan and I know that already. Purna wonders if she is capable enough to achieve it. Sai says if Maalik has chosen you for a task then He has also given you the courage to accomplish it. She heads back home.

Purna reaches home. Gangadhar, Savitri and Digambar are waiting for her already. Purna shares that she went to meet Sai. Digambar signals Gangadhar who locks her in her room. Digambar smiles. Purna requests them to open the door. Gangadhar tells her she wont step out of this room after today. She is in shock. She keeps knocking at the door. Let me come out please. Savitri and Gangadhar are in tears.
