Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein 20th June 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Karantia and Ria arguing while maasa, Lovely, nimmi and Gehna come there to see the commotion going on.
Maasa asks Ria to stop when she further raises her voice. Maasa tells both of them to keep quiet and asks all the DIL’s to come to her room for a discussion
Ammasa is in maasa’s room as well. Maasa states her disappointment that they were arguing in front of the kids.

Maasa questions Karantia why she started the fight in front of the kids, Gehna interrupts and says that Karantia had no rigt to scold Ria as Ria took care of Anu way before Karantia came. She also says that she should not have allowed Ria to cook as Ria has been away and may have forgotten stuff.

Maasa says that is not the case and everyone should be treated the same, then maasa asks gehna what is going on between her and nimmi as things do not seem right between the two.
Maasa then advises Gehna to not keep a grudge and behave like the eldest and to forget whatever that happened. She then tells nimmi also not to keep grudges. Maasa then generally advises all 5 DIL’s to have a good behavior.

All 5 DIL’s walk out of maasa’s room, Lovely then tells them they should all forget the misunderstandings and work together but Gehna tells Lovely to shut up and mind her business. The 4 DIL’s walk away angrily leaving a worried Lovely
Ammasa tries to console a worried maasa.

A loud aarthi comes and tells Gehna she has guests and wants to borrow some kitchen stuff, a rude Gehna tells Aarthi to ask Nimmi as she is in charge of the Kitchen from now on. Arthi is shocked at Gehna’s behavior and realizes something is not right.

The next morning Lovely is cleaning the prayer place and she starts to pray to the god that there should not be anymore fighting in the house.

She prays that Gehna and Nimmi should clear their misunderstandings. Lovely than goes to the tap to fill water and realizes there is no water, Nimmi and KArantia also come there with pails and says there is no water in their bathrooms as well. Lovely than says they need to complain to the municipal council and Nimmi says to speak to babusa about it.

All are in the hall and Babusa is worried as he has received a tax notice from the council for 8lakhs, Kartik and the rest are shocked.

Babusa explains that the rates changed a couple of years back but they were paying the old rate so now they have revised the rates and want them to pay the overdue amounts within 10 days or the water and electricity will be cut.

Utkarsh than says that is not fair as they did not know of the raise. Then shibu says that it may be a mistake so he will check it out first. Shibu then returns and says there has been a new municipal comm. Who has resurveyed all the old properties and sent the notice.

Lovely then tells maasa that Kartik and herself will speak to the new municipal comm.. Maasa agrees and Karantia also wants to follow them (Ria and Gehna are shown to look unhappy about it). Ria rusely badmouths Karantia to Gehna

KARLY and Karantia come to the municipal comm. Office and the receptionist refuse to let them to see the lady, an angry Kartik forcefully enters her room to confront her.
The comm. tells them to sit and asks why they need to see her. Kartik asks about the notice. And Lovely then says they were never aware of the change of rates, while Karantia rudely says that they are not being fair.

The municipal commissioner patiently explain that it is all based on the legal rules and govt policies. She hands Kartik a book with the rules and he just keeps quiet as its clear they have to pay the differences. The Lady then goes on to explain to Lovely that the policy was made years back and them being educated people should have been informed via TV or the newspaper.

Karantia then behaves rather rudely with the Lady and threatens using the fact Shibu is a police. KARLY are ashamed at Karantia’s behavior and try to keep her quiet, but the comm. coolly answers Karantia’s threat.

They than leave the place and the comm. tells herself she was only doing her duty and that this was just the beginning and calls someone

Maasa is irritated that for some reason they were not sent the notice and are forced to make such a lump sum payment.

Adi (the sensible one) says that there must be some reason the lady is doing this as she is victimizing them as soon as she came to this place.

Babusa then says whatever the reason they need to pay the tax or they will not have water and electricity.

Babusa asks Utkarsh if he still has the money he borrowed for Paddy but he says he has returned it so Babusa asks him to get it back but Utkarsh does not want to as he says its not right to ask the creditors again

Karantia then rudely asks Utkarsh why the double standard as he only will ask if for himself but not for the family. All are shocked at her words.

Maasa immediately scolds Karantia for the way she spoke and asks everyone to go to their rooms.

The next day there is totally no water in the house and all the DIL’s are not able to clean up as their work can’t be done. Gehna and Karantia start to argue and Maasa walks in and asks what is going on. Lovely explains there is no water.

Maasa asks all of them to go with her to meet the Comm. They forcefully enter the office and the Comm is angry with them. Lovely then asks her why she cut the water when they had a 10 day grace period. The lady then says that it could have happened by accident as they never followed the govt rules and policy.

The Lady rudely tells them that she also knows how to be rude like how they forcefully entered her office. Maasa then tries to calm the situation by apologizing and trying to compromise with the lady.

The lady then agrees with maasa and says that she can help but she has a condition…. Episode ends

Precap: The Lady has given some sort of challenge and Lovely agrees to it while the rest are not too inclined.
