My character didn’t have any journey whatsoever’- Nirav Soni

Nirav Soni who plays the errant and immature Tannu on Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha on Colors has a sensible head on his shoulders. We in talks with this intelligent actor

Will you be there in the second season of Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha?
I would love to be a part of Season 2 of the show. However that depends on how the track and my role will be. There has been no conversation between the production house and me regarding this as yet.

Are you happy with the way your character is being delineated?
I’m not happy with the way my character is being delineated on the show. However I have made peace with myself and I hold no grudges now. It is after all a game of TRP and ratings. Tannu’s character started and ended at point A. My character didn’t have any journey whatsoever.
Even Tannu’s father Sanjay’s character could have been explored well. There were tracks that were to be explored but ultimately weren’t explored. Tannu’s relationship with his parents and the equation with his joint family could have been explored. Tannu’s love interest angle wasn’t explored either. Both he and his love interest were to try to fool one another. They were to be in a love – hate relationship that was to bloom into love. However that didn’t happen.

Do you feel sorry for Tannu?
More than feeling sorry, I feel concerned. He wants to make money in the wrong way and is oblivious about the consequences. Money is important; however you need to earn it in the right way.

Megha isn’t close to Tannu at all. I feel that she being a sensible and an understanding woman could reach out to him…
We had planned that out, however it didn’t happen. We had planned that Megha would take up Tannu’s matter in her own hands. She would make him understand that he was on the wrong path and get him on the right one.

Is it a good idea that Tannu and his parents go for family therapy in Season 2?
Yes, that is a good idea.

Which historical character would you like to play?
I would like to play Bhagat Singh as he thought very differently from a very young age and made many sacrifices.

What are your hobbies?
Watching films, exploring new places, I am a big cricket buff and a foodie who likes to eat various kinds of food.
