My journey so far has been magical: Vindhya Tiwary

Pretty and talented actress Vindhya Tiwary, currently seen as Shasha on Saurabh Tiwari’s newly launched show Phir Bhi Na Maane..Badtameez Dil, is happy get a new character to play on this show with which she can totally relate to.

In a candid chat with us, Vindhya shares more about her experience of playing this character, her association with the show and much more…

I always wanted people to know the real side of mine – The experience so far has been very good. I am glad that very few actresses get a chance for a makeover with the characters they play and I am the one among those. I always wanted people to know my real side. I have always portrayed the characters of simple and innocent girl who gets tortured and then fights back. My real side always surprised people and they wonder how different I am in real than my reel character. They always used to say that I should play a character which is similar to real me.

This show is like a dream come true for me – I am very grateful to Star Plus for giving me an opportunity to play different kinds of characters back to back; from Maryaada Lekin Kab Tak? to Diya Aur Baati Hum and now on this show. The producers with whom I have worked on Star have given me a graph by giving me different roles. This show is like a dream come true for me. I am happy that the channel considered me for this role and given me a makeover with this role.

I prepare myself well before preparing for my scenes – I can completely relate to my character on the show and that’s I look comfortable in my role. I prepare myself well for the characters I play. I haven’t got any training in acting. I just work hard and prepare myself well for my scenes before I perform. I always keep myself focused and I always try that can never try playing me rather I should play the character. I am happy with the compliments I am getting for this role. People are loving Shasha and I would like to give the credit to Gaurav sir, Danish sir and Saurabh Tewari sir for believing in me. I am working hard and I believe that there is no shortcut to success. I am on the right path and I will have to continue working hard.

The love and support from my close ones have always been there with me throughout the journey – I belong to a very small town Varanasi so whenever people meet me, they get surprised to see me like this. My journey so far has been magical. I believe that whatever we achieve in life is because of the unconditional love and support of many people in our life. Our journey would have been difficult without the love and support of our dear ones. Now whenever I meet people, they give me lots of love and blessings so I would like to give the credit to my family who have always supported me throughout the journey. I am also happy that my newly opened food outlet The Secret Recipe’ is also getting a good response. If the faith of your family is with you then the things will automatically fall into right place; you just have to work hard!

Music keeps us alive – I am a very bad singer and I never try to sing. I just listen whenever everyone sing songs on my set. We would have been into depression if music wouldn’t have existed. Music keeps us alive and it’s a beautiful way of emoting your emotions. I love all kinds of music especially Romantic numbers. Currently Mere Nishaan is my favorite number and I am loving to see its popularity.

We don’t try to act; everything is just real – The response that I am getting for my role is beyond expectations. We are working hard and our producer Saurabh Tewari sir puts in a lot of effort. He is focused and sweet and gives feedback to all of us by visiting our sets. The passion he has and everybody have is very necessary. This is the reason why the show is being loved by all. The show has everything; from drama to emotions. Everything is just real and flowing like water. Nobody is trying to act and that’s the beauty of our show.

Way to go Vindhya!
