Nishad Vaidya aka Amit to enter Amita Ka Amit

Sony Entertainment Television’s Amita Ka Amit, produced by Swastik Productions will finally see the entry of Amita’s Amit in tomorrow’s (30 January 2013) episode.

Nishad Vaidya who essays the role of Amit is excited about his entry in the show and says, “Yes, Amit is due to enter this week. It’s exciting to be a part of such a huge show. I have had my own struggle and belong to a middle class family. I hail from Gujarat and I shifted to Mumbai with my father in the year 2006. I have been part of theatre, worked back stage for a year or so, and have done plays too. In fact, when I auditioned for Amita Ka Amit, I initially auditioned for the role of Rohan. Then I went on to audition for the role of Sooraj, and that is when the channel and production house felt that I fit perfectly to the lead role of Amit. That day has been my best day so far.”

So how is Amita’s Amit going to be, we ask him and Nishad says, “Amit is a guy who is outspoken before his family members, but tends to be reserved before an outsider. He gets nervous in front of girls. He has about 3-4 friends and is casual with them. He has a good relationship with his nani (Meenal Patel); his mother pampers him a lot but the guy does not care for her as much as he likes his nani.”

Talking about his entry sequence in the show Nishad tells us, “Amit will meet a girl Neha on a date at a hotel. Amit who is otherwise very punctual about time and does not like any kind of wastage whether it be food or money, sees Neha come with a huge bag after shopping. She also wastes food that has been ordered and Amit does not like this. So he rejects her upright by telling her that their qualities do not match.”
