Now, Chatur Ganguly to go negative in SAB TV’s Jeannie Aur Juju

The happy-go-lucky neighbour of Vicky, Chatur Ganguly (Ashiesh Roy) is about to turn negative in SAB TV’s Jeannie Aur Juju (Eagle Telefilms) with the story going 200 years back in time.

As reported in the media, Jeannie (Giaa Maanek) and Vicky (Ali Asgar) will go in the past and realize that they were in love even back then. They will also see their present day friends and relatives in different avatars in the past.

Jeannie will be seen as a watchman’s daughter while Vicky will be a prince.

Furthermore, Ashiesh will be seen as Chitra Sen, Vicky’s (Vikram in past) uncle who would want to take over his kingdom. Therefore, he will be seen planning and plotting against Vikram to end his life.
The actor will be seen sporting a very traditional look with a handlebar moustache.

When contacted Ashiesh, he confirmed the development and said, “Playing a negative character is so much more challenging than playing a positive one. But, I love the fact that I am getting an opportunity to bring out my evil side in the show.”

The actor states that he’s especially enjoying the opportunity to be able to speak in chaste Devanagri as the evil uncle Chitra Sen. “It’s very important for an actor to be proficient in languages – to know the correct idioms. And luckily for me, the tongue is the most exercised muscle in my body,” ended the versatile actor.

Looking forward to your negative act… Ashiesh!!!
