Percy is my angel, a blessing from my dad: Delnaaz Irani
The cute and bubbly Delnaaz Irani, currently seen in the couple-based reality show Power Couple on Sony TV with her beau Percy Karkaria, says he is THE man in her life. Percy is a professional DJ and part time priest.
Asked about her relationship with Percy and marriage plans, Delnaaz said, “This is the question that I have been asked a lot of times. But right now, I am extremely superstitious about marriage. That part of my brain is dead. Percy has given me the space and time to cope up. I am very sure that Percy is the man in my life. I am going to spend my entire life with him. He is my angel and a blessing from my dad from heaven. He is somebody who came when I needed that support. He’s given me love, respect and all.”
With the two performing various tasks on the show, how has the bonding improved? “I think this is all we needed. I always knew that our compatibility was superb. I am blessed to have him in my life. He is a superb human being. I enjoy doing tasks with him. I become a mother and teacher to him sometimes,” added the lady.
Percy is new to TV, so did you guide him with your experience? She quipped, “He was very shy initially in the show, but now he has overshadowed me. We have our cute nok jhoks and fun. He was completely new to this industry and this is a different place for him.”
Do you wish to do any more shows together? “Well, I would love to…but he is not into acting so I don’t think so. He loves music and dance. He is also a choreographer so a dance show would be perfect,” shared Delnaaz.
Talking about the show, she said, “It is different from other shows. It was something very adventurous and has love, romance, compatibility and doing something for your loved ones.”
When asked about the host of the show, the lady said, “Maliaka and Arbaaz are superb. Arbaaz is a fabulous host and the most adorable person in the industry. He got Percy out of his shell. I wish the show does well and becomes a super hit.”
Tell us the one thing that makes you different from all the couples on the show. “We are a sweet and spicy couple,” signed off the actress.
